I was like, "What is this
I purchased these two cans because my 5 year old house-cat decided to be a butt face one day and jump through a screen window into the backyard at a house I'm renting. It so turns out that after I chased her back inside, she brought "hoppers" along with her ("hoppers" is the war code name my son and I came up with for fleas). Of course their presence was not immediately known until about two months after the incident occurred, which was just enough time for them to multiply to the extent that my cat started to act crazier than usual. Then they found us.I first tried the home remedy of placing a shallow dish filled with water and Dawn dish detergent by a light source, and yes, it did work to an extent. I was killing at least 50-75 hoppers a night, but knew immediately that it wasn't going to completely rid the house of the infestation when one morning I saw my cat laying on a pair of my son's black sweatpants and those pants were virtually covered with tiny, white specks. Being the idiot I am, I was like, "What is this? Does she have dandruff or something?" So I Google'd flea eggs, and voila...HOPPER SPAWN. That's when the war was officially declared by the Congress of one.I ordered these two cans of Raid, but thanks to the failure of logistics (here's looking at you UPS), the Prime package was delayed an extra day and I was forced to walk my happy butt down to the store and purchase two cans of inferior HotShot product (no Raid at the store). When I came back home, my cat went into the bathroom for at least four to five hours as I vacuumed everything I could possibly think to vacuum; cracks, crevices, radiators, electrical outlets...even the inside of my computer tower. While that was being done, all of our clothes went into the washer and drier, and then directly into 30 gallon trash bags. Then I sprayed with the HotShot, waited for the carpet and hard floors to dry, then I vacuumed again. Then my cat got a bath with Dawn dish soap, and although it killed off quite a few that had been on her, she wasn't fully rid of them yet.The next day, the Raid arrived. There was a notable cessation of hopper activity after the first treatment, so I felt like I had won a battle, but the war was far from over. My cat was still a walking factory. Again she went into the bathroom. I vacuumed, and then sprayed everything (including the outside of the plastic bags where our clothes were) with Raid. And since it has a residual effect, no further vacuuming has been done. Most hopper activity has stopped, with the exception of one or two that no longer can jump because of the Raid, but we stopped being bitten. As I write this, the war is still not over. I am having Frontline delivered soon, and a 3/4 gallon of TalStar with a 1 gallon sprayer. Within the next week, every bug, seen and unseen are about to feel the wrath of a nuke. They are going to die. All of them.Should you get this? Yes, but don't expect it to be a cure all. It is for knocking them down. They only thing that is going to rid you of your pest problem is the will to seek-and-destroy (here's looking at you Metallica), consistency, and the ever important follow up treatments. This is just a tool, so use it as such.

It really works!! Flea free since using this.
This worked like a charm. We had a flea problem. We use a monthly flea treatment for our dogs but failed to do so on our cats. All of our animals are indoors, but I believe our dogs may have transported the little buggers inside and delivered them to the cats. Brotherly love, I guess.Anyway our issue quickly escalated. The fleas that would stay on the dogs and bite them would die due to the medication they were on. However, the ones that jumped off multipled and our cats helped show them around the house. So we had fleas in all our carpeted areas. So we treated our cats with topical medication from the vet but needed something for the house. After searching Amazon I landed on this and I am so glad I did. Two cans of this and we are flea free.I did not pull all furniture out and spray everywhere. I did try to do a very thorough job though. I sprayed under our sectional without taking it out. I sprayed as much of the area as I could and made sure to hit the bottom our our drapes. I'm telling you this stuff works. I did cover everything as it recommended in the directions. The smell isn't overwhelming but it does have an odor. Just try to do it on a day when you can have plenty of ventilation and you will be fine. I locked my cats up in a room with tile and put a towel at the bottom of the door. I also opened their window to be safe. My dogs were outside while I did the treatment. I kept everyone locked up and away for a couple of hours to allow time for the carpet to dry and the air to clear.I was skeptical I will admit but it worked. Haven't had an issue since. So happy I got this.

It worked!!!
I hate fleas so much! I felt like I was never going to get rid of them. My sister suggested that I order stay. I was skeptical, but this spray worked! I don’t have anymore fleas after suffering for 2 weeks. My suggestion is to treat your animals and spray your floors even the non carpet areas. I am continuing to spray to ensure all fleas are gone, but it worked the very first time I sprayed my floors. Great product!

Good for a heavy infestation
This product definitely helped with a bad flea problem, killing adults, eggs and larvae. It does have a very strong smell that lingers quite a while. It also leaves a tacky layer of dust on everything, but I suppose that helps it work. Two cans covered the flooring of my 600 sq ft home and a little third can to get some of the bedding a sofa. I would only use with a heavy infestation that other treatments fail to work on, allow to sit and ventilate as instructed (it will still smell) and be prepared to dust and wipe down other surfaces.

This stuff works!
I have three dogs and for the first time in my entire life they got fleas. We have been using frontline plus for many, many years and all of a sudden at the end of the summer it quit working and all three of my dogs had fleas. Consequently I had fleas in my house! I can’t tell you how embarrassing it was to sit in a business meeting and glance down and see a flea on my hand. I Purchased this, gave my dogs Capstar, and then Comfortis per recommendation of my vet. I then sprayed this raid throughout all of the carpeted areas of the house. I am pretty sure that I used a heavier application that is recommended on the can as I used up two cans in about 900 sq. Ft. NO MORE FLEAS! But don’t forget you have to vacuum, vacuum, vacuum! It does smell, and I did have to eventually open some windows in order to air out the rooms I used it in, and I tried to spray it when I knew we wouldn’t need to use the rooms I was using it in for roughly 12 to 24 Hours. But it kills bugs! My house was built in 1853 so we have all manner of centipedes and Asian beetles and Box Elder bugs and spiders and after I sprayed it I found all of those things dead, and not just on the floor. I am very happy!
