Mikasa Alyse 4-Piece Place Setting, White

I purchased this set of dishes for a very specific occasion, the occasion is past but I really like the overall look of this set of dishes, but they are very "wonky" A.K.A. warped. Yes, they are very cheap, but care was not taken BEFORE they were put in the kiln. When you look at them in your kitchen cabinet (at eye level), you will see the edges all warped. Once they are on the table, no one will know they are warped, so I keep them only because they are pretty. If someone breaks one, oh well. I already gave away my older set when I purchased these, so I will be purchasing a much better set soon to replace this set, giving this set to the thrift store. Sorry, not enough care was taken while these were being made.

My 11 inch dinner plate came in broken, I was heart broken when I saw it. The package seems well packed, but somehow the 11 inch plate was broken in the box. The rest three pieces are fine, and they are gorgeous, high quality made you can tell by just holding it. The Edge framed design is classic, basic white color just simple will be great for my daily use and also suitable for special occasion day dinner. I took away 2 stars just because the broken plate. But still love the rest of the set!!!!

Unless your decor specifically hits the off-white aesthetic, the glazing on these dishes doesn't fit much.With the ceramic able to show through the glazing, it makes them feel as though they're not quite clean.The overall design and weight of the dishes is nice, however. The coffee mug is delightfully massive, and the bowl is reasonably proportioned to the rest of the set.

This place setting is beautiful and elegant. I am in love with the scalloped shape of the pieces and the curve on the cup. It's a beautiful set, truly. However, $70 dollars for one place setting, give me a freaking break! That is completely ridiculous and so overpriced. I would never in a million years buy this myself. If it were a setting for four, then sure I would shell out the money but you don't get a setting for four, you get one, one setting and that's it. If you are willing to shell out that kind of money for a one-piece dinner setting then knock yourself out, this setting is beautiful and you will love it. However, I don't recommend it because of the price tag on this. It's not worth it, no matter how beautiful it is.

Nice set, sturdy and beautiful design.Definitely not worth the price and the listing is misleading. One would think this was a set for 4 people and it’s actually just 1 large plate, 1 small plate, 1 mug and 1 bowl.

Love the style of this set but it is literally one piece of each for 50 dollars. You only get 4 pieces. One Plate, One Bowl, One cup, and one saucer. The picture is exactly what you get. So the price is a little steep. The pieces themselves look amazing. Love the color and shape of each of the pieces. The one thing I did have a problem with is amazon's packaging. Whoever packaged this was not careful at all. It wasn't a tight fit to keep them from shaking during delivery and when I opened the box the actual box set was upside down with no indication So when I lifted it they all fell out and of course the bowl chipped. I was a little annoyed at that. Packaging should of been better but the actual set is nice but pricey.

I like the style and color. Just broke a plate. A bit disappointed.

Very pretty and overall well made. The layered detail is amazing and the pieces look incredible together. It is a bit pricey just for one setting but understanding the quality it’s a great set!
