High Quality FR Shirt
I bought a size up (normally L, bought XL) because I would be wearing over normal clothes usually. It fit fine for that use. I just needed something for walking through a plant. I didn't need to be wearing it constantly all day. I also plan to use it for other on-site trips as many places have similar safety rules. It's nice looking and seems like it will last a long time.

Good lightweight FR shirt for the money.
For the price and the fit these are great. The 2112 tag in the description says it's on the edge of the front pocket and it shows it there in the pictures but it's not it's on the left sleeve. Doesn't really matter as long as it's on there. The employer requires the 2112. I got the gray colored shirts and they are lightweight compared to my old carhartt brown FR's and are the color represented in the pictures. I think these will be a lot cooler in the summer heat. Reasonably priced for an FR shirt but still cheaper than others I looked at. Should last a few years as long as your not welding or grinding in them.

Great quality shirt
I would say this is a good Carrhartt product. The sizes do run on the slightly large size. Im a large but sometimes a medium. If that is thencase with you go with the medium. Stiching is good. Dont worry about purchasing. I have worn it 3 times and washed it 4 times with no unsightly wear. You do have to wash it before use, just a fyi.

It's a good shirt, you just have to be familiar with Carhartt sizing
I've read some mixed reviews from people who don't understand that Carhartt sizing is about a size larger than other brands, do some research and you wont make that mistake and give an otherwise good product a bad review. I've worn Carhartt products a lot over the years and I know for a fact that in most other brands I'm a 3X-Tall, but I ordered a 2X-Tall in these shirts and they fit perfectly. I've also seen some people complain about the fabric, I don't know what part of a FR cotton / nylon blend shirt makes people think it's going to be super soft or light weight. It is a lighter FR shirt than some other brands I have worn and actually cooler, it breathes better and does wick sweat away, but surprise, surprise, when it's 110 degrees outside I still get hot wearing this shirt, who would have thunk it. Now to some other points, the fabric on this shirt does remind me a little bit of those cheap bandanna's you can pick up at a convenience store or Walmart so it can be a little itchy and these things will wrinkle like one of those wadded up bandannas, so if you want a shirt that stays crisp all day, look elsewhere. I'm not sure what else can be said, this is a genuinely good work shirt at a reasonable cost, from a company with a good reputation. If you want something softer that looks nicer and is a little more true to size, look at any Ariat button downs, but they are usually a little heavier and hotter. If you want the best of both worlds, soft and cool, try a Tecgen, but they go for a little more than 100 bucks a pop, plus the fabric isn't as tough.

Just spend the extra cash on this shirt. You know it's worth it.
Great shirt. I should say it fits as expected due to the fact I knew it was going to be to bulky. But I am 6' tall, 150 pounds and all arms and legs. A medium will fit great in the chest but won't stay tucked in and the sleeves will be to short. A large stays tucked in and the sleeves go to my wrist but it looks like I'm swimming in it. I went on the side of keeping my shirt tucked in and having the protection from flying sparks all the way down my arms. If I ever find a small tall/long in this shirt I would buy five of them to wear everyday of the week. It's a very comfortable material and kept me cool enough while out in the sun all day.If you want to know your shirt will not catch on fire while working around pieces of molten metal flying around you all day and stay comfortable this is the shirt you need. I've worn the employer provided shirts for years and they do a good job of not burning but are hard to wear.

Love This
Will buy several more. Not that I need FR shirts, but I like the weight and how durable this shirt is. Get what you pay for.

What i needed.
This is not a “fire proof” shirt like some of the other people on here use it for. Flame resistant just means that your shirt won’t burst into flames if a spark or hot piece lands on your shirt. IT WILL STILL BURN A HOLE WHERE HOT PIECES LAND ON YOUR SHIRT!!!! which is completely ok, as long as your shirt doesn’t create a live flame.Great shirt, would definitely recommend this shirt for rugged work use. The twill cloth feels better and feels safer in more dangerous environments.
