I had not even heard of white petrolatum anywhere until I went to the hospital to deliver my baby. There, the nurses used these product to dab on the baby's bum before putting on the diapers. They also gave me a small stock to carry home and I saw that the white petrolatum was really helpful in preventing diaper rashes.I was quite impressed by the product and ordered the 1lb jar from Amazon. It has been great. The 1lb jar has lasted me 3 months. The baby has avoided any diaper rashes so far, so I'm really thankful for it.I only wish the shipping cost weren't as steep - right now it costs almost as much as the product itself.

This is the only product that I found relief with my hemorrhoids. It soothes the area immediately. I highly recommend this to anyone going through this terrible problem. Mine never go away after having kids, so I always need this in stock at home. I first received it from the hospital after having my kids and looked everywhere for it until I found it on Amazon.

I used to buy a brand name of this item and thought I would not be able to get it anymore I was very happy to find this on Amazon. I can't use the other brands they don't work. I have thyroid disease and cannot buy certain brands of hemorrhoid creams.

This product is most effective. I was a user of Nupercainal Ointment for many years and no longer can find that product on the market. This hemorrhoidal product is the most effective over-the-counter product as compared to other hemorrhoidal over-the-counter products on the market today.

This product is really good for extremely dry skin. Recommended by a Dermatologist, as it is PURE petroleum (nothing else added to it, hence very greasy, but great)had to get it for my 2 and half yr old daughter. Helped her a lot!! Still using it, twice a day.

Dibucaine's anesthetic properties did the job of unattainable Nupercainal brand. I checked the ingredient in the name brand and found it in the Dibucaine ointment. This was a great find and even with shipping charges, compatabile with the name brand.

Quite thin, so you use more product. However, it does work.
