A Happy Accident
I didn't mean to buy this book. Truthfully, I read the summary and thought, "Not for me." Amazon, apparently, had other ideas! That's what I get for online browsing on bad wifi! Still, I'm glad! This story was cute, and light, and engaging. The fact that I'm not obsessed with shoes seems besides the point now. This is a story about women who are empowered by each other and themselves, and their lives are all very distinct but equally interesting, and I don't feel that the story suffered much from giving them all solid personalities and stories, though I will say that, for a person with a serious phobia, Sandra's character was not as emotionally compelling, and seems to have the least complicated storyline of all of them.I give this story four stars, because I had a great time reading it, but it wasn't unputdownable. I had plenty trouble putting it down, but it wasn't impossible! :)Also, note, the kindle copy is riddled with frequent, aggravating typos that stalled my reading flow several times!

Easy read, quick and positive message/ending.
Cute story about the power of female friendships. 4 unlikely friends discover each other after responding to a personals ad for shoeholics.

A little tough to follow
I liked this book a lot. It was hard to follow at some points and maybe that was because I was reading the Kindle version. I have read in a few reviews that some eBooks have typo's but this one had quite a few. At some points I had to read a page a few times or even go back a page to make sure I knew which character I was on. Over all it was a very cute book about how these woman came together. The ending was a little abrupt for me and some of it should have been more towards the middle of the book (just my opinion).Like I said before I liked this book a lot and I would recommend it to anyone who loves Chick lit's like myself, and shoes too :)

For all ladies who love shoes
Hilarious book for all shoe addicts! It is funny & keeps you entertained. I read the book in one sitting & loved every minute of it. I am a shoe addict myself so I could really relate. Great light reading & I have also read the followup book "Secrets of a Shoe Addict" which is even funnier than the first book. I would recommend both of these books for any woman who loves shoes & has more shoes than she really has to have. Great reading.

Good read!
Harbison gives herself four women to work with, and delivers a book with a great story - and most importantly, without pages and pages of internal monologue. How these women get together may be a little far-fetched, and one story line borrows heavily from The Nanny Diaries, but I could not put this one down.

It was a cute little book about shoe-lovers finding themselves in this world. I enjoyed it. I think I gave it to my mom for her to read as well. It is a nice light read.

What a terrific book! I enjoyed the story from the beginning all the way through to the end.I am not a shoe addict but if I could have met these ladies and befriended them, I would haveeasily become one. It was a fun, quick read. Great for a rainy or snowy weekend or a greatbeach vacation. I even laughed out loud as I was reading it!
