NOW Supplements, Super Odorless Garlic with Hawthorn Extract and Cayenne, 180 Veg Capsules

My doctor suggested that I try a garlic supplement for "plaque in my aorta". The next time I had a prescription delivered I requested that the pharmacy also send a garlic supplement. I have a feeding tube due to dysphagia and therefore must crush all meds. The odor nearly made me sick and so I didn't take it. I found this product on Amazon with the info that the garlic is dried and odorless. What a boon! I have now been taking this without any problems for several weeks and am very pleased with the product.

This formula not only has the garlic, but also cayenne and hawthorn -- all ingredients we need for a healthy heart and good circulation. It is like taking 3 different pills in one capsule. I have had no after-taste, smell on breath or any problems taking this product. The price at Amazon for 180 capsules was better than I could get at the health food stores in my town, even with shipping.

With the hint of cayenne in this blend I will not be without it. I have given two bottles away to friends who were sick and they have had remarkable results after several illnesses have kept the family down and was out of control. Once they started taking the Super Odorless Garlic by NOW they have gone through the rest of the winter and into the summer with no further illness. I shared this product with them because after starting my family on a regular dose we have not had any illness in our home of 4 children for two full years! I will not be surprised if someone does get sick, but this product definitely keeps the common stuff at bay and I expect will help minimize anything that get through.

They are in plastic capsules, there is no flavor. Value is fair, but I prefer the NOW brand as long as they haven't been sitting on a shelf for awhile.

For years, my blood pressure was a normal 120/70, but healthwise, it's been an especially tough couple of years.
