This mug arrived packaged well in bubble wrap in a box. There was no breakage or cracks, which is great. The mug itself holds 11 oz. of liquid, and is absolutely beautiful. The writing is bold and bright, and it has the picture on both sides, which I am extremely happy with as I am a leftie and a lot of times, I don't get to see the picture at all. The handle is strong, as is the mug itself. I am not sure if this is dishwasher safe, but I am going to hand wash it to be sure. I love the picture; as would anyone who spends a lot of time reading. I guess I really can call myself a "literary gangster" now! As for the price, is it really decent, and this would also make a great gift for the reader in your life. I am definitely thinking about getting one for my sister. Highly recommended.

Literary Gangster Coffee Cup is a perfect cup for bookworms and librarians. The design is clever and humorous, making it delightful addition to my mug collection. The size of the cup is perfect. The quality is excellent, and it's microwave and dishwasher safe, which is a huge plus.

I bought these as end of the school year gifts for my literary criticism team who made it all the way to State and took the bronze medal. They loved them, but, good grief! That's a ridiculous price to pay for a darn coffee mug! It's not gilded, or anything! It did come in a very sturdy protective box, though. I only spent the money on them, because it seemed like an appropriate gift for the occasion. It was kind of hard to justify that price, though, so I just sucked it up and paid it. Oh, well.
