Excellent book for the younger audience and even adults who enjoy tons of photos of Smoky and her adventures with her owner, William Wynne. This book will reach the next generation so they learn all about this spitfire Hero of WW II and first documented therapy dog. Next to the book, Yorkie Doodle Dandy, written by Smoky's owner, this is the best and should be on the shelves of all school libraries and included in US History lessons.

This is an amazing Biography of a true American hero and his remarkable dog. I read his story in Yorkie Doodle Dandy and appreciate being able to read a continuation of a story that will make anyone that reads it feel proud and warm inside.A MUST READ!

Much like Smoky, this book/story came to me in a VERY unexpected manner. In the course of my job, I had the pleasure of speaking to the author Nancy Pimm. This book is perfect for anyone who is appreciative of History as well as ideal for those who love animals. This was and is an unexpected gem that I'm proud to add to my library. Thanks Mrs. Pimm!

I loved reading the true story of Bill Wynne and learning more about his life, family, and Smoky. His journey with photography, Hollywood, work at NASA and Smoky's live TV show were amazing. A nicely-written bio by Nancy Pimm.
