Having read the reviews I knew that an adapter was required. I ordered a 13a one off Amazon for £8.00 which was very simple to use and wouldn’t invalidate any warranty by cutting off a plug. The max amps on this should be 10A I have changed the fuse and also run off a 10A extension lead to be safe. The heater is fairly easy to assemble albeit the instructions aren’t particularly clear but if you know what it’s supposed to look like you can do. Heat is lovely and very powerful and the added bonus of remote control too.

Be advised this heater is designed in Spain and as such comes with a European moulded two pin plus earth plug. It seems sturdy but the assembly instructions are awful and to make it work without rewiring you will need a converter plug for the UK available on Amazon for around £6.61. The flex itself is only about 2m long. I have yet to verify it’s heat output as I haven’t the correct adapter plug to plug it in.

Great outdoor heater gives off plenty of heat. Only thing is it comes with a two pin plug so had to go out and buy adapter for it

I didn't think it was lawful to sell an item in the UK without a UK designated electric plug. This came with a european type which I had to replace. Also the assembly instructions were completely incorrect and had to interpret the assembly myself. Otherwise a good sturdy and powerful heater

Easy to assemble and use. Looks good too.Remember to order the electrical adapter.

This not for use in the UK as it comes fitted with a two prong EU plug!It’s not referenced anywhere in the description that this is a European electrical product that can’t be used with UK electrical sockets.I did however have to buy additional plug adaptors which have worked and the seller has refunded the cost of these, yet to properly try out the heaters as waiting on the plug adaptors now.

Be careful with this product. The adapter that they sent with the product burnt. Whilst it worked it gave out really good heat thoughEdit- I had an electrician in and apparently the issue was totally my fault so happy to change my review to 5 stars as the heat it gives off is really good

This is a very dangerous heater . The adapter melted while we were busy with the barbecue , thank God one of us noticed it on time and had to switch main electricity off!!!! The cable is too too short, not sure how one is meant to use outdoor.In one of the reviews , it saysy the seller send him an adapter - am not sure which one to use as the UK one l used melted - SELLER can you help or l have no choice to return the heater

Hace tres años que la tengo en el jardín y és una maravilla! Calienta rápido y se nota. Increíble compra. Lástima del peso de abajo que vino con un tornillo mal y se mueve el pie pero la podría haber devuelto y no lo hice. Estoy encantada.

Para empezar diciendo que esta genial. Me ha gustado mucho y creo que es buena compra.Importante matizar su utilidad:Mi experiencia: usándolo en entretiempo, es decir aún no hace frio de dia pero de noche empieza a hacer falta una rebequita:- De noche, en una terraza de un chalet, practicamente abierta y sin que haya vientecito: Si solo activas una barra (1000W) practicamente ni te enteras que está, es necesario encender las dos barritas (2000W), entonces si se nota. Eso si teniendolo mas o menos cerquita (1 metro y medio maximo) y no muy alto.- De noche, en una terraza de piso, que esta mas recojidita (paredes a los lados), y sin que haya vientecito: sigues necesitando encender las dos barras para que se note, pero lo puedes tener un poco mas alejado que mantiene una temperatura agradable.

El paquete llegó en mal estado, y al probar el calefactor no funcionaba. Hace 6 días que he realizado el proceso de devolución y sigo esperando que vengan a recogerlo. Un auténtico desastre.

Como he visto en otras reseñas (demasiado tarde), el calefactor no se puede montar en la base, me han recomendado devolverlo por defectuoso, así lo haré pero adquiriré otro de otra marca, no recomiendo a nadie que se arriesgue con esta.

Es imposible de montar, la base trae tres tornillos diminutos imposibles de ajustar, lo tuve que devolver una pena ya que el precio estaba muy bien y buena marca. Espero que se corrija el fallo.
