LOVE
I LOVE these. my 18mo old wears them all the time when we go outside they are easy to put on. I love how the back is adjustable because if they are a little big you can tighten that up. they “grow with the feet” in a way. haha. the soles are nice and thick, they “grip” the ground so my son doesn’t trip as much. I will definitely be getting him another pair. These are also amazing if you LO has chunky feet .. like mine 🤣••• I strive to provide very open and honest reviews with products I purchase online and add clear photos of the item. I do this because when I purchase online I ALWAYS look at the reviews and base whether or not I purchase that item on what others say and/or photos that are posted. I take time to help others with their purchases, so if you have this found this review and/or photos to be helpful please hit the ‘helpful’ button. I enjoy receiving feedback. 😊 •••

So comfortable and surprisingly cute
I LOVE these. I honestly kinda thought they would be too utilitarian/“sporty“ for me, so I also got the Teva midforms to try, thinking those would be the ones I would keep. The Hurricanes were the clear winners! They are way cuter than I thought they would be. The footbed is SO comfortable - durable, soft plastic with some give, and gentle arch support, which is perfect for me since I’m flat-footed. (The midforms had a bumpy/textured foam footbed that I knew would really irritate my sensitive skin on a hot day.) I’m a true 7.5 and it’s always super annoying to figure out whether to get a 7 or an 8 (sometimes neither will work, honestly) but thankfully the 7 fit well. (For comparison, the 7 was way too small for me in the midforms, and the 8 was actually JUST right in the length, but I had to tighten the ankle straps so much that there was a ton of extra strap hanging off.) It helps that the back strap is adjustable on these, so I can get a little bit more length that way instead of sizing up a whole size and feeling like I am wearing boats on my feet. Of course, if they came in at 7.5, that would be ideal, but I think these will be just fine. All and all, the Hurricanes were a surprise winner for me, and I’m looking forward to wearing them this summer!

Fits true to size- my 8yo is happy
Definitely buy your shoes based off the size chart. I have a 8yo girl who wears a size 3 in Nike shoes (which Nikes run small imo). I got her a 2 based off her foot measurement per the TEVA size chart on their website. It was accurate. Her foot measures about 8”. It fits great with a smidge of room in the toe (so room to grow but won’t trip over). She has a normal width foot- if her foot was wide I would have gotten her a 3.My 6yo has these in a size 13- also a great fit. She has wide feet, and she loves them. She’s between a 13 and 1.For reference children’s shoe sizes go in this order, smallest to biggest... 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5...Shoe sizes confuses my husband and he didn’t know why my 8yo is a size 2 and my 6yo a size 13!

Buy your normal “big kid” size
These are great!!! I was concerned due to the review stating that they ran really large, but that is not that case!I buy children’s sizes (“big kid”) often, and an usually a 5.5 (I am almost always a 7 women’s, except for SOME Steve Madden styles, but still mostly a 7) - I purchased a 6 big kid in these since there were no half sizes, and they fit great! Super squishy and comfortable. I bought these for summer hiking, which I have yet to try out in these, but they seem like they’ll work great (and cuter and less expensive than Chacos, in my opinion)

Get this one.
After lot of research, I ordered Hurricane XLT 2 Sports Sandal for the whole family. The day we received them, we went to the beach, tested the shoes out for few hours. Got them wet and sandy, walked the beach, etc. We all approved. The next day, we went for an extreme Florida fun day- hitting two parks (involved lot of walking on trails) and two different beaches. We didn't even pack backup shoes in case Teva sandals didn't work out. We were out the whole day and we all loved wearing this sandals. We highly recommend it. It's comfy, sturdy, not too heavy, looks nice, good for all kinds of activities.

Fit my adult feet :)
Needed to replace my Tevas that I use for kayaking & summer hiking. My original pair lasted me over 20 years! These will not. Maybe since their made for youth the sole is just not as rugged? BUT they are super comfortable. Much more then my older pair. The sole does not seem to have a great arch. Though the foamy squishy sole molds to my foot when hiking pretty well. No foot pain & no slipping when climbing rocks on water covered streams. I liked these so much I bought another pair in a different pattern as well! I usually wear 7 1/2 or 8 in woman's & this youth 6 fit just the same. My only complaint is I ALWAYS get a blister on my little toe from the straps if I wear during bigger hikes. All Tevas do this to me with this style strap. So I won't use for day long hikes, but perfect for kayaking & light hiking, or even running errands.

To all the ladies....
I am a 30 year old woman and I purchased these boy shoes because I read online that the boy sizes will typically be cheaper than women's tevas. Which in this case was true --> but if you find yourself thinking about doing the same, consider these 2 things.I personally have 3 or 4 pairs of tevas. Rafting, hiking, fishing, day to day wear... I push these things to the max - From what I have noticed, while the boy size fits great - they do not have as much arch support as the women's tevas I own. They also seem to wear out quicker. I have had the purple/blue pair for under a year, while the other 2 pair have lasted me years. I love the color and pattern of the boy pair but because they wear out so much faster.. I find I don't wear them as often as the others. So I guess you get what you pay for.

Perfect for Extra Wide baby feet
Baby feet in Tevas are the cutest thing ever. I’m not kidding. My 22 month old wears these daily and I’m about to order a size up. He is extra wide feet so I wanted adjustable and these gave us room. I notice they have been smelling a bit so I plan on soaking them. They get wet almost every day from playing in the sprinklers or water park stuff. I noticed adult tevas get smelly too, so I plan to soak in oxiclean once a month. The Velcro is still holding strong which is a big plus. My son loves these but HATED flip flops. If you have a super wide footed kid these are great

These are children's sandals
I ordered these sandals but the sizes and description were misleading - they are actually children's sandals.

Description reads women sandals in fact for a child
They were children’s NOT WOMENS. The description is wrong in the ad

Sizing comes too small!
I have always been solid uk size 3.5 and ordered uk size 4 in these sandals. As I wore them to the park, my toes wee just on the edge on the front! So they are really small! I’ve never worn uk size 5 but it looks like on these teva sandals I should have ordered size 5! If you get the sizing right, they are lovely comfy sandals, but only if the sizing is right...

TEVA IS OUR GO TO SANDALS😍
TEVA sandals are amazing! The quality is so good that you’ll know it will last you a while. Unfortunately the sandals I got for my son is too small, but I am not returning it and keeping it for my next child. My husband and I have TEVAs and I must say we used it for every travel and until now it looks as if they were brand new!Delivery was quick too, it arrived few days before the guaranteed date! I love Amazon so much for this‼️

Wrong sizing
Be careful with sizing. In our case we ordered kids size UK 6 and we received a US size 6 (UK 5). Seems to be a problem with the Amazon label stuck over the TEVA one. Going to reorder to hope to get the right size this time. Otherwise shoes look fab, just shame about ordering!
