Judith Krantz's Till We Meet Again [DVD]

Great story, but the quality of this DVD is terrible. It turns into mosaic in a fast-pacing scenes and it is a total displeasure to watch it. They failed to properly digitize it (transfer from analog to digital) and it looks like watching a bootleg VHS copy dumped on a disk. See how they digitized  The Story Of Ruth , for example: crisp image, no dust and scratches, with fixed brightness and contrast, etc., all of which is missing in this DVD release. In short, if you want a bad VHS-on-DVD copy, go for it. I bought it ONLY because there is no other version available, but as soon a "professional DVD" is released, I'll just shred this lame copy. Sorry, but sometimes truth hurts :(

The romance and tragedy in one family sets for A great story threw two world wars hardship and violence and betrayal but its still A wonderful Romance film.

Poor picture quality, picture was not sharp or clear. Freddie acted like a spoiled brat always having to have her own way most of the time.

Judith Krantz's Till We Meet Again This movie made from the Judith Krantz novel was quite enjoyable. The quality of the DVD was great - I had read some reviews that said it was not good quality but I found it just terrific. Hugh Grant's character is one you love to hate but it was fun seeing him in that kind of role. Michael York was perfectly cast as well as many of the other characters. Charles Shaughnessy added the heat and spice and Courtney Cox was the girl next door - with a twist. Well worth the money and one to watch over and over. Great casting, great story and a good one for your library if you like Judith Krantz novels.
