If you go exact;y where this book tells you , you should have no problems finding 2oz a day
This will be my third copy of this book and hopefully II wont have to buy it again. Too many ppl that I know want this book. But after talking to the author of this book He stated that if you go every where I say to go in this book. So so far I haven't been stumped. I haven't gotten 2oz a day but i've found some nice color

Lots of useful information...
Living in Colorado I was looking for a book to give me some of the rules and regulations regarding gold panning in the state, and also some precise locations that are open to the public. This book does both at a reasonable price. I bought it late in the year and will have to wait until next spring to try it again, but with the help of this book I'm armed with a lot more knowledge than I've had in the past.

Great guide book.
I really needed a guide for a beginner. This was the right book to bring me up to speed. It stays in my field bag with my rockhunting guide book.

Not a Good Resource for Detailed Recreational Panning Locations
I was hopeful to find areas to take my family to do some recreational panning for gold around Breckenridge (lots of placer mining history here). So I purchased this book to find areas to pan in Breckenridge but found nothing more than a few sentences. I was hoping to find detailed references for places that I could go panning but no such luck.
