I like the 2 different laces option. A stretchy elastic one is provided so you can make the shoe a slip on. It's also a pretty shoe, as shown. I do wish the turn circle on bottom ball was bigger as some turns don't fall exactly where that smooth turn circle is located on the shoe. Also, around the ankles at the top edge of shoe, it's a little fluffy or extra stuffed. Maybe that provides extra support but when I look down, aesthetically I don't like the look of fat ankles. The split sole is great & my feet love the fit. I wear an 8.5 but got a 9 after reading reviews & the 9 fits perfect. So it runs a half size small. Maybe without socks you could wear your normal size, but you want to wear socks just like with an athletic shoe. It's just what I needed, more support than the jazz or ballet shoes I would normally wear. I'm post toe surgery on 1 foot & have recent plantar pasiatis so this dance shoe is a game changer for rehearsals.

Too many dancers don't protect their feet. Child dancers can grow up and have sustained structural damage without proper footwear. Older dancers also need these blochs. They won't give you that perfect point you want but they will save you from injury, extend your practice, and your dance life in general. I have been wearing them for about 4 years, love them. Getting ready to buy again. Would encourage parents to consider for their children. Have seen parents buy less supportive footwear that helped with the perfect point. Tragically I also know adults who suffered the consequences when their parents or worse DANCE TEACHERS required a dance slipper. Your feet are more important than any step, your future self will thank you if you remember that. Buy this dance sneaker!

I love these shoes- best dancing shoes ever. I use them for Zumba. But they tell you to order them a full size bigger and I didn't see that in the additional information part.

I've been looking for shoes for Zumba and tried so many sneakers that just weren't working. I saw these and since they are dance sneakers thought I 'd give them a try. I did read in reviews that they run small and I'm glad I paid attention. I'm normally a size 8.5 and I went with the 9.5. I might have been able to fit the 10 but I couldn't believe I would go from an 8.5-10 so I stayed with the 9.5. They are snug but they are great to dance it. gave me confidence in my movements and I highly recommend them! Just heed the warning they run small.

If you want to spoil a ballerina, get this pair! :-)

I wear a size 8M in street shoes. I had to try three different sizes before settling on the 10.5M. I wear socks and a soft arch support when doing Zumba Gold. Too bad the dance sneaker isn't made to fit street shoe size and avoid the consuming order/return process to get the correct fit.

I normally wear an 8.5 and I first tried a 9.5 which was still a bit small so got a 10 which really seems only slightly longer but definitely wider :( But I'm going with that size...!

Der Bloch Tanzsneaker ist leicht, dämpft gut und ist bei gutem Halt sehr bequem. Auch die Verarbeitung ist sehr gut. Leider entspricht die Schuhgröße überhaupt nicht der Norm. Ich habe eine Größe 40 bestellt und die gelieferte Größe entspricht einer 38! Also Retour (klappte problemlos). Ich habe jetzt anderswo eine 41,5 bestellt. Doch wegen Brexit und Corona beläuft sich die Lieferzeit auf 8 Wochen.

The wrong size was sent, and the returns process was difficult. I have used this shoe before and can confirm it's an excellent quality shoe, super comfortable, and great for heavy-footed dance styles (e.g. street/commercial, disco etc.) or high impact cardio workouts like running or HIIT. But given the size fiasco and return process being complicated, I would recommend ordering directly from the Bloch website.
