Good cooling rack and decent quality for the price.Amusingly though in order to fit its enormous girth into the box for delivery some wag decided it was best to fold it in half. Amazon issued a refund without issue though and the folded rack was hammered back into shape to begin its life of cooling cakes and buns in a wobbly uneven way.No points docked from the product as the issue was Amazon's not the products.

These stainless steel coated cooling racks, whilst I'm certain would be suitable for cakes, tarts and biscuits, have been put to a rather different use in our household. I had a problem with the fitted cover on my fish tank in that the condensation was leaking all over the wooden tank stand causing it to stain. I came across these racks and ordered two for the top to prevent the fish from jumping out and they do the job really well! One has to ensure that the water is topped up from time to time but I'm really satisfied with them.

Takes a tray bake 12x9 or two 8” sandwich cakes side by side, fed up with faffing about with ones which were too small. Sturdy enough, easyish to clean in as far as any small metal squares are, but good quality so would recommend this one.

Another basic from Amazon that does exactly the job I wanted it to - hold cakes or biscuits to let them cool down and air a bit to avoid condensation under the cake or biscuit. This is slim and therefore easy t tuck out of the way and big enough to I can cool down two round sandwich tins worth of sponge. It is good and sturdy and I have no complaints at all.

I'm not sure that there's too much scope for differentiating between different cooling racks but this one is perfect for what I needed. I had just bought a bread maker and realised that it's important to get the bread out of the machine and onto a cooling rack as soon as possible. I scrabbled in the cupboard and could only find a disgusting rusty old rack that had probably belonged to my grandmother. If you're going to 'treat' yourself, it's not exactly blowing the budget to buy a new rack. I snapped one up and it's had a lot of use already.It stops the bread from 'sweating', helps it to cool effectively, and best of all it's easy to clean and it stays nice and shiny if you clean it regularly.It's simple but effective - I can't see any reason to buy more expensive versions. Delivery was fast too!

Bought for someone else so I can't comment on individual features, but I liked that the squares are smaller than many similar racks. I really can't see why some racks cost a lot more. This one is a very reasonable price.

It's good for what it's supposed to do, but I expected all 4 "legs" to touch the table / countertop. They don't, and that makes the rack not very sturdy. Will not buy again

Good value sturdy cooling rack. I purchased this cooling rack in August 2015 and it is still going strong. I use it to cool baking products such as Welsh cakes, brownies and a sponge. I would definitely purchase the same product again if I needed to. I find it easy to clean (I have used the rack as a base when placing melted chocolate on brownies and it has come out clean after a hand wash each time).
