Worth 20 bucks!
I have a 357 snub nose. Works great! If your gun is heavy like mine it does best with belt or jeans. It must be thick heavy waist ban. I tried to wear with leggings. No Go! The holster has adjustable clip and straps from right and left. Fits real snug in holster for the snub nose. The firing arm strap it fits snug too! Very solid feel when gun is in holster. So snug, that I could just take the gun in the holster and hit the attacker in the head and knock them out and run! Good times!

Used for a 1st Generation Snubby Colt Cobra
Because of the trigger guard being slightly larger; was hard fining an inexpensive holster. There are plenty of options for the newer Colt Cobra. This fit well and also feels secure when carrying it under a long loose a fitting shirt. For a universal holster; I am impressed with it.

Works
I have used it once on a hiking trip. Velcro and buttons feel very stout. I like the ambidextrous feature. It doesn't seem like it would be great for conceal carry, but I'll cross that bridge when I get there.

Best designed holster I've ever owned.
I was looking for a holster for a snub .38, bought a few from different companies and wasn't impressed. Then I found this. It's amazing. Quality construction. The Velcro system allows you to position the straps over the hammer in an almost infinite configuration. It really works so well. I spent almost $100. for an OWB holster for this gun and I hated it (again, not from Federal). This is an incredible bargain. My state permit is for both concealed and open carry and I will make use of this holster. Thank you to all who answered my question about it. You could draw the weapon a million times and believe me, there is nothing on this holster which is going to damage an expensive gun finish. Thank you, Federal!

Works as described
Not really made for carry but could be used for carry. I bought it to protect my pistol from scuffs, scratches and dust/dirt. If one was to use it for carry, it would be comfortable and it does have a hook and loop strap with a release snap for retention. Also has belt loops on each side and the clip can be moved to the left or right side of the holster to suit your needs.

Holster Can Be Modified
I found that by cutting the holster seam slightly where the handgun trigger guard won't fit on certain larger handguns, that I could get my .45cal. Colt Government Model Mark IV Series 70 to fit just fine. I hope this will be a help to others out there who are looking for a good inexpensive holster.

It is what it is
Got this for my Rossi 38 snub. It's OK but that's it. The Velcro straps with the weapon inserted make mine just shy of 2 1/2" width and they hang off the Velcro about 1 1/4" . That's a tough hide for a concealed weapon on my 275lb/6'1'' frame. I'm removing the 'straps' and having a locking strap sewn onto the top portion only. I'm removing the Velcro on the side I don't use. This will cut the width some. The metal belt clip I find useless. It easily came detached from the holster when removing the gun many times. I'll use the belt holder only which is 2" wide and suitable for support, (after I have it stitched top & bottom again as it appears to be held by one stitched row). So my bottom line is as stated, it's OK, nothing special but is a reasonable price. With some modifications, for me, it'll be a better holster for my snub.
