Really happy with my purchase
I wanted a new tablet for watching Netflix / Sky Go as all the TVs have been taken over by my children. I also wanted a fast tablet to surf the internet and one with a large screen so I could use this for online purchase. I am also an android person. The tablet arrived well boxed with a detailed instruction manual, a UK plug with USB C charger lead. The first thing I noticed was how solid the tablet was. It has a metal housing and the screen was protected with a film cover. The tablet was nearly fully charged on arrival. It was easy to set up and only took a minute to setup a google account and download Netflix / Sky.PROsThe screen is extremally good. It is crisp and clear. The colours are vibrant and really pop from the screen. Watching Netflix in HD was better than I thought you would get on a tablet. There was no delay or screen stutter and you can swap between apps really quickly. The battery lasted about twelve hours (from arrival) and then when fully charged I got about fourteen hours continuous use watching films / surfing the web. Also with the USB - C charger this seems to charge much quicker than my phone. The storage has 32g but you can insert a micro SD card and get up to 128g extra. This is a great feature as it makes it a much cheaper storage option for me. The camera is decent quality both from and back but I only really used these for video calls with my family through Zoom and Houseparty.CONsI am really happy with my purchase and there is not much to say here. The value for money for this tablet with these specs is really good. For what I needed this tablet is probably has better specs than I needed but at the price I thought it was better to future proof and buy one that would last.Good value for money

Good tablet
I brought this tablet as my old tablet had stopped working. I've set it up which was really easy and quick to do. It has a very good battery life. It is easy to use. I have downloaded games and movie apps to use for my children and myself. It is a 10.1 inch so is a nice size tablet to hold and watch movies on. It is a nice sleek tablet which runs on android. The screen is very clear. The sound is loud too which is a big bonus as can watch movies on the tablet. It is one of the best tablets I have used.

Great purchase - Vankyo S30
Just wanted something to replace my old laptop for video calls, online shopping, Googling, games etc. but couldn't afford the iPads and Samsungs - not even the refurbished. Saw this had good reviews and went for it. wasn't diasppointed! It arrived earlier than expected. So easy to set up, synced everything from my phone easily. No lagging on downloading apps. Easy to download docs, games etc. My photos are nice and clear on it. Haven't Skyped on it yet but can't see any problems with that. It was even charged up on arrival so I didn't have to wait hours for it to charge up. Really pleased with this tablet. Only had it a day so can't comment on battery life but it seems ok.

Benefits outweigh the cons, but a little pricey for what it is
I've had the Vankyo MatrixPad S30 for a day now and am happy with it on the whole. It definitely has its pros and cons, but I think the pros outweigh it in the end.Pros- Screen quality is great - it's very clear and watching/reading stuff on this is a joy. The slight complaint I do have about the screen is that it's very bright, and the lowest brightness setting is not that low. I have to turn on the Eye Comfort mode, especially in the evening or when sitting in a dimly lit area.- So far, battery life has been good. I haven't charged it at all, came with 80% and has been going for a day so far with moderate use (installing plenty of apps, lots of emails, a few YouTube videos, web browsing and reading). It's now down to ~30%.- Probably one of the most underrated features is that it's running a stock version of Android 9, so there is no bloatware. It's really nice to have a clean installation of Android that you can customise as you wish, rather than being forced to use bloatware by some manufacturers.- It feels sturdy, although the right side does sometimes creak when randomly picking it up but nothing significant that I would be worried. Of course, I still wouldn't want to drop this (as any other tablet) and it's a shame it doesn't come with any sort of case or screen protector.- Uses a USB-C charger, so I don't need to worry about digging out a separate charger for this and my phone. One charger to charge them all!Cons- Not as fast as I'd like. I've noticed that emails in Gmail scroll slowly, whereas websites in Chrome scroll fine. I haven't tried any games on this as that isn't what I purchased it for, but it's been generally fine for most casual and work tasks.- It's advertised as a 60Hz screen refresh rate but in reality it's only 50Hz. This does have a very slight impact but given the screen quality is good anyway, for everyday use it's not an issue.- Mentioned before, but would have really been nice to come with a screen protector or case.- This is now £149.99, whereas I purchased it for £139.99 just a week ago. It's a tough sell at that price given the other tablets available on the market, but I think having stock Android edges it over something like the Fire HD 10.On the whole, very happy with this tablet!
