Perfect replacement, no wire nuts needed to adapt to the existing plug, bracket fit as required. My only recommendation for the installer would be to make sure that the bracket has the same bend as the original as it will not initially come that way. You can manually bend it yourself to match the previous bracket bend. This is important as the gas may not ignite and create a potentially dangerous situation. If you are not comfortable or competent doing this please call a professional!

It worked immediately as I installed it. But exactly 6 months later I need a new igniter. I never used it with self-clean mode, and we use the oven relatively infrequently (1-2 time per week).It looks like 6 months is a very typical lifetime for this igniter for many people leaving reviews here. This is unfortunate, since OEM one lasted for 8 years.

In under 6 months, the igniter stopped working. I first noticed an issue about 5 months into the install; when preheating my oven, there was a sudden boom sound from the gas finally igniting after being on for a few minutes.This happened a couple more times until I realized the igniter must be busted. Now it doesn't work at all.

Ordered and installed this igniter into my GE oven 6 months ago. Worked great until last week. Had to order another one and install it again. Easy to install but the durability is questionable.

I ordered this based on the GE part number. The first igniter arrived broken. Packaging was insufficient for rough handling during shipping. Four days later the replacement arrived. Replacement should have been relatively simple, except the mounting bracket was in the wrong orientation. I was able to remove the bracket from the old igniter and reinstall on the new igniter. After the modification, installation was simple. Attached cables are sufficiently long to work in any application. Still worthwhile at about ⅓ the price of the GE part.

Fits perfect , just like the old one

I have purchased this product on two separate occasions and so far each one has lasted almost exactly six months. I'm now looking for a third replacement and hoping I can find a different product that will have a longer lifespan. It's not terribly challenging to install, but is a little bit of a pain since you have to remove the bottom of the oven to get to where the igniter is located and then wire it up. Would like to not have to do it every six months.

Great value. My husband found it easy to install and it works great!. Was afraid a new range was in our future but nope just needed this part.
