I live in the desert. I needed something shady for my vehicle as it’s all black exterior and interior. But what’s perfect is it also acts as a shade for my dining room! Double wooo!! Now personally idc that it’s water resistant. That’s the whole reason it’s called a SUN shade lol. So if you live in a predominantly hot, sunny, lack of moisture state, I think this would be perfect for you! But if you are okay with the rain or wetness, then put the shade at an angle so the water can fly off. I also love the color and the stitching. It feels really sturdy! Now just to test it on our really strong wind days 😬 I’ll update as soon as that day comes!

Came as instructed, great durability and weather resistant . Be prepared to used a different form of harness . Strings provided aren’t the strongest .

We hung ours on a deck between house a garage, to give Grandchildren an area to play with getting sun burned.This seems to be working great, they have a sand box, water table, and mini kid pool under it and have been playing under it for several weeks now without getting burned. Since this has been very hot weather for us, most days + or - 90, in central NY, I am very happy with purchase.Even seems to help the enclosed porch it's attached to stay cooler than usual.A light rain seemed to roll off but heavier rains come through fabric, it's held up during severe thunderstorms even with excessive high wind. Very happy, would purchase again.

This is the perfect size for us. It looks great and works just like we hoped. It isn’t sagging and looks like it will be durable. The thickness is ideal to allow air flow and water to pass through so that water doesn’t pool.

Any slight bit of wind or weight of a little bit of rain and your strings are stretched all to crap. Thickness is pretty good and provides a nice amount of shade. Pretty good for the wind as we just had a tropical depression come through and it's pretty durable

This is our second Sun sale, but it seems shorter than the first one we had and yet it’s the same size, but this works extremely well to block the sun

I have bought 2 of these in deferent sizes for upper and lower deck very tuff holds out in heavy wind and rain passes through no problem so no need to remove in foul weather

I've not had this up for a very long time. BUT, so far so good. I've not had it a full summer. It takes the worst of the glare away, however if you are looking for a thick shade that actually casts a shadow, this is not it. I love it, because it doesn't make everything dark and dingy. It gives me a little cooling, and as I say, it takes the glare off. It is well made and a good quality. I would recommend.
