Bought these years ago and they still work great. Turn on at dusk and off at dawn. Just what we needed outside. I have not had to replace one yet and I installed 8 of them.

Excellent lightbulbs I’ve had these in my front porch since December 2021 and they’re still shining bright. I leave the switch on 24 seven and at dusk the lights come on in the morning the lights go off. I don’t have to worry about turning lights on if I’m not home or not.

The light has its own sensor built in the base. You can see this sensor by looking at the bulb. Some complaints I have seen here is that the sensor doesn’t line up right for it to work as said properly. I had no problems and in fact unscrewed and then rethread and screed it back in a bit differently it line up sensor to the side of the bulb but it still works from dusk to dawn saving me energy usage and keeping the light on as desire WITHOUT THE BUGS!!!!

The dawn to dusk feature of these bulbs works extremely well, even in an enclosed outdoor fixture. To my naked eye the light looks nice and yellow like incandescent bug lights but there must be something a little different. They work better than a regular bulb but seem to attract more bugs than the older style bug lights.

Better than expected. Lighted area well, and came on at sunset, and turned off at sunrise. So far, I am very pleased.

Dusk to dawn lights are used on my covered front porch. Had LED lights and the up bugs were a constant problem. These bulbs made a significant improvement

Originally purchased for a friend, but their outside fixture covered the sensor so it could not work. I tried it in my own light fixture by my front door and it works great. Light comes on when it gets dark. No timer to set. Just works. So, five stars because it does what it is supposed to do. Any minus stars would go to the fixture, not the bulb. Do recommend.

We have had a major inset problem on our back porch. Loads of moths and other insects would croud the outdoor light and get inside once we open it.I got these lights because I like the idea of them turning off during the day incase we forgot to.After installing the light I seen an immediate reduction of insects. I would guess 95%. Less flying insects as a result means less Spiders near the doorbas well.These lights did not have an effect on Earwigs however. This was expected as they are not drawn to the light.The light is not too bright, but bright enough to see clearly.I've had other daylight sensing lights that would turn on and off a lot during dust or dawn. These do not seem to have this issue. They turn on during night and turn off during the day just once, even though the back porch is roofed.

Love these have them on our outdoor lights they work perfectly. My friend bought them now too. Now our video doorbells automatically see and record well at night (without anyone having to remember to turn on the outside lights).

I do like that Amazon asks if they were easy to install!! Yes and that was it. if you wanna never kick yourself for leaving the lights outside on too long the next day, these are perfect. The give enough light for our driveway and actually make it look more inviting than those blinding (shadow-creating) bright white LED's do. They come on at dusk & are off early enough in the a.m. Love them. Have been in for a year now & no probs.
