I do like the look and color of these shower curtain hooks. They are advertised as handcrafted, and I'm not sure what that means because they just look like they're a resin that's been painted. The molds are all very consistent but the painting is in need of better quality control. I will attach some pictures to show that some of them are very dark some of them are light and some of them actually are not painted completely so that the white resin shows through. Not poor enough or defective enough to return but I'm not pleased with them. We will see how durable they are.

The manufacturer seems to feature the fact that the hooks are hand painted as if that is a sign of quality. Quite the opposite is true. Simply painting the face and edges of the hooks would appear to be a simple task, but the "artisans" obviously do not care anything about quality. Every other hook has a bare spot somewhere on the edge. How hard could it be to ensure full coverage? With that said, the flaws don't stand out and the overall look is pretty good. I'm irked by the poor quality, but they just eked out a passing grade. I have a 1-inch curtain rod, and the hooks are a good fit.

Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with these hooks. I have a block type shower curtain with an ivory strip on top, a teal strip in the middle, and a chocolate brown strip on the bottom. These rings look so lovely with the curtain. Dead sexy! The construction is about what you would expect for the price point, but they seem sturdy enough and the paint looked good. The only thing I don't like about them is that the hooks are a little narrow. The curtain rod in my apartment is a little wide, so I had to get some pliars and bend them open a little, which makes them more prone to slip off the curtain rod if I get crazy and fling open the curtain. However, it's not something I can't live with. I don't tend to exit the shower like I'm in an action movie. Your mileage may vary. If you have a narrower curtain rod, these'll probably fit like a champ.

I didn’t think these would be great. But I wasn’t prepared for them to be quite this terrible. These are black pieces of plastic that someone haphazardly threw gold paint on with the idea of making them look aged. But a lot of the black plastic is completely visible and there are paint splatters all over. They all look different in originally awful ways. If I hadn’t needed to take a shower I would have sent these straight back but no one likes lakes in their bathrooms. Terrible.

These items are not purely gold as pictured. They seem to take pride in the fact that they are hand painted, but I believe that is where I’m least pleased with this product. They are sloppy and inconsistent. There are malformations in the mold on a couple of the pieces. Considered spray painting them but overall, not worth the money.

I purchased these shower curtain hooks about two years ago and began seeing rust about a year in. Just getting around to reviewing because I finally bought replacements. They were just what I was looking for but what good are they if they rust? Used them in a bathroom used by one person so we're not talking about hours of high humidity either. Disappointing.

These shower curtain hangers are nice, however, The button is very large. It would not fit through my shower curtain button hole or any (for that matter) I’ve seen in shower curtains for purchase.

I like the hooks still but it’s pretty poor craftsmanship as far as the color that’s missing on all 12 of them. Had to color the remaining pieces in with a Sharpie.
