Great book on all individual pieces of the German field equipment. Pictures are a mix of black/white and color.

Getting back into modeling after many years and needed a good reference for figure painting. This book is, by far, my go to reference for German soldier equipment colors..etc. Osprey publishing is always a good bet! I use the Kindle version so I can refer to it on my iPad or PC at any time. Well worth the $$s!!

This is a great modeler's aide for detailing equipment, a beginning work to help those new to the military miniature hobby. Becoming skilled starts with references and this is an ideal start to those wanting to have that little extra in their work or begin a collection of military items.

I got this as a gift for my father and he loved it so much. He is a huge military fan and I was so grateful to find this book!

Very good book for modellers of German WW2 figures. All the main equipment items are shown in photographs and in Ron Volstads excellent colour illustrations. There are detailed descriptions of all the equipment, telling, when they were issued and the materials used in their manufacture. I am very impressed with this little book and refer to it regularly. If you're a figure modeller , I'd certainly recommend it.

Always thought k these books would be good as they have been around for years. So hard to read as it looks like the page layouts have been designed by a child. No good!
