I wasn't sure of the exact length of shovel I wanted. I saw various options, so I picked something in the middle. It is a "short shovel", but perfect for my wife to garden with. She is 4'11". I am 6' and much prefer a longer shovel, but this one, for its size is excellent. It is very well made, and the handle is a nice added feature to make shallow basic digging easy. My wife loves it. And while I will probably choose to use a 60-inch shovel I purchased instead, I am sure I'll find myself reaching for this for smaller tasks. It's very well made and I would definitely recommend it if you want a shovel that's 3 and a half feet long.

My husband said the shovel is working well other than the fact that it is short. It is heavy duty, but for 40+ bucks. I would hope so.

I used this to spread gravel on the driveway. It is just the right scoop size and the length is is just right for this type back work. Nice little shovel! I really think it will last many years.

I used it for a day so far. Feels very sturdy but is lightweight. It is short. I am 5’5” and is good height for me, have to lean over slightly.
