Love this " shacket"
Didn't know shacket was a word, but this is the best combination of a flannel shirt and cozy jacket. Soft and warm, for weather too cold for my denim unlined jacket. Sherpa lining is just the right weight for winters in OK.

New Fav Shirt!
The inside is so cuddly as if you are surrounded by softness; it's luxurious! I love the fabric and design of the outside as well. This has been my go-to wear around the house, go to the grocery store, and do everything shirt since it arrived. The quality seems really nice as well.

Warm, good for the barn
The pictures made this look more stylish than it is. This is a farmer's barn jacket. It is sturdy and warm, but has a men's cut--very boxy. It has plenty of room in the shoulders, chest and sleeve, but is snug over the hips because it is cut straight, with no flare for a woman's shape. The pockets are roomy, but open at the side seam so not very good for keeping hands warm. That being said, I appreciate how snuggly warm this jacket is.

Warm
Was much thicker and warmer than expected. Very nice pattern.

Cozy and Seasonal
Bought size small - fit perfectly, but a tad snug in the shoulders. Can't wait to wear it once we get more seasonal weather in PA (currently in the 80s when it should be in the 70s)Edited: very warm, have received lots of compliments - but the first thru the wash, I lost 3 buttons

Boxy, short sleeves, fleece lining bigger than flannel outside
It is nice and warm, but flattering it is not. The materials seem nice and the fleece and flannel are both soft. I also like the colors. However, that's pretty much where the "likes" end. It's boxy. I ordered a Medium and I'm glad I didn't order the large (broad shoulders fit, 36C chest), it would have been huge (except the length of the sleeves). The body is very boxy, not fitted at all. I can wear it over other layers with no problem, so that's good. The sleeves are several inches too short, ridiculously short. I'm 5'4", so not a tall gal, but I don't wear petite in anything. My pant inseam is 32", so for being short I have slightly longer than average appendages. This disappoints me the most, short sleeves for something that is supposed to keep you warm? Uh uh. Also, and this isn't a gripe, just a note, the inside of the arms are not lined with fleece, but with a quilted, probably polyester/cotton material. It allows you to slip your arms more easily into the jacket if you're wearing a long sleeve shirt underneath. My other gripe has been echoed in the reviews already. The fleece lining hangs out the back because it's been cut too large for the flannel outside. Makes it look cheap and old even though I haven't even washed it yet. I doubt after washing, it will look any better, likely worse. Because it is so big, if you try and move it so it doesn't hang out the back, it just bunches up in other places. Annoying to say the least. For the money, I would not purchase this again, however, I kept it because I'm cold and didn't have many warm things to throw on. If you're petite, shaped like a box, and don't mind the extra fleece hanging out, go for it.Update 2.20.2019: Still haven't washed it, now has a hole in one of the pockets. I randomly found a Carhartt flannel sherpa lined jacket the other day and since it was on sale I bought it. The quality of the Carhartt is far, far superior in every way to the Whitetails jacket. It's slightly fitted, much warmer, sleeves are long enough, has snaps instead of buttons, actual lined pockets so your hands are still warm...now I wish I hadn't spent the money on this item. I do really like the color though!

Very Comfy
Bought this for the plaid pattern, I had a similar years ago. It’s really well made and is extremely soft. The only thing I wish I could change is the color of the liner, wish it was black or navy. The white really stands out. It fits as expected. I have long arms most flannels I have to size up or they’re too short. I didn’t size up on this and it isn’t too short. Highly recommend!

fleece lined fiasco a silver lined story
Picture this. florescent red and green lights loom in the foyer. A half eaten slice of pumpkin pie rests on the table, as you begin to scrape another piece that you tell yourself will be “the last bite.” Suddenly you remember, it’s time to check prime day deals. Hours press hard into the night as you frantically pan through deals of useless products you probably don’t need hoping you find a mere speck of a deal that will have made your investment worth it. Then you see, something you’ve marginally desired- a fleece lined flannel. The most impressive part is that it’s 40% off.Without hesitation you add to your dimly filled cart. The rush of dopamine feels as soft as you anticipate the flannel will as well. One minor detail will escape you though until weeks later. After receiving the flannel and wearing it several times, you notice that it feels, well, a little tight. “Perhaps, I have gained weight?” You think “have I officially grown out of mediums now?” You say. Suddenly it hits you. Tight around the hips. Flattering on the chest. This is a woman’s sized jacket. How could you be so naïve. Amidst the idea of the deal you failed to see the clear warnings.Thankfully this fleece lined fiasco has a silver lined outcome- perhaps my wife would like a new jacket?
