I train German Shepherds. This kit is great. The three different training indicators, tone, buzz, and electric pulse gives you three levels of escalation. It doesn't take long at all for the dogs to understand that there is an escalation and they soon respond to just the tone cue. After a day or two I never have to use the electric pulse. I like how the shock just 'pings' once and pauses before resuming instead of an instant-on sustained pulse. Also, always shock yourself with whatever level you use on your dogs so you're aware of the impact it has. This kit is expensive, but for two dogs, or for anyone who fosters dogs or trains dogs, this kit is worth it. It's built well, nothing feels cheap or chinsey. I previously used the Dogtra 1900S for two years and the good build of that system is the only reason why I dropped the money on this one as an upgrade.

Wouldn’t recommend the battery’s wouldn’t hold a charge longer than a couple hours

Absolutely LOVE this product. I have two dogs and now I can finally take them out on the property together and allow them to both run and have fun without any worry. As soon as I use the vibrate feature, they both come back immediately.The quality of the collar is fantastic. I like it a lot more than the one I bought a few years ago.

Just starting using this today i have it set up on 2 dogs seems easy to work so far . Dont know about battery life yet , but we will see. NEW UPDATE i bought this in February 2021 had a major issue with transmitter not sending to collars , Contacted Manufacturer sent them back to California they came back fixed ,But having same issue again but they are not so enthusiastic for me to send back again for the same problem you would think for the money this product cost which if i remember was about $500 they would back up their products a little better then that . So take my review for what it worth . Its just my opinion of the company and their business practices

Do not buy, the remote control shuts off unexpectedly and randomly. Right when I needed the ability to correct my dog, I hit the button on the remote with no reaction from my dog. I looked down at the remote and it was turned off, I tried to turn it back on and was not able to. I gave it the benefit of the doubt and assumed I forgot to charge it. Fast forward to the next day, after charging it to full, THE EXACT SAME THING HAPPENED. I no longer can trust any Dogtra product, and am unable to exchange it to see if just my unit was faulty because it happened 3 days after my 30 day return window closed.

So this is my 2nd Dogtra Dual dog collar - the 1st worked very well so I decided to buy a second with a new set of pups. The first set probably just needs new batteries and woul be good to go, about 12 years old.4 star review, 1 of the collars has a battery that charges but takes about an hour longer than the other collar and the control unit.So - Yes it does work so no warrantly issue. But I know it's slowly going to fade out and eventually die, the day after the warranty expires, costing me $$, time and disruption.

Wanted something durable and trustworthy to help train a new GSD pup. So far this has done exactly what we wanted. Within 24 hours I had trained her to come to me, sit, and walk beside me on a leash. I also bought it to calm my other dog down since she had some jealousy with the new pup. It's easy to use with two dogs, battery life is still full bars after 3 days use, super easy to use, and you can tell you are getting what you paid for. These collars and transmitters are top notch. Would definitely recommend and buy again.

We got this collar for two dogs. This is our 3rd collar of this same brand and model, and we have had nothing but issues. They will not pair after hours of troubleshooting. Customer service is only available during working hours where we are unable to trouble shoot. These are a big investment and an even bigger inconvenience. Only one collar works at a time, and the working collar is always changing.
