OmniMount GEMINI2B Bookshelf Speaker Stand, Black

Having seen these Speaker Stands at a retail store I knew exactly what I was looking for. These were VERY competitively priced (a lot cheaper than the retailer - about 25% less even with freight). They arrived in perfect condition a day earlier than promised. They were very easy to assemble and were packed perfectly with the best assembly instruction manual I've ever seen. If you can't follow these instructions I suggest you not even try making TOAST! It was easy and I needed only a phillips screwdriver and a pair of pliers. They work well for concealing wire and are quite sturdy. In addition, audiophiles say that bookshelf speakers should be "about" 30" to 33" off the floor: these will give you a height of 32" OR around 25" if you choose. It is an "either/or" situation, they are not adjustable. And the "floor plate" has 4 color/finish options although the pole and speaker plate are all glossy black (on the black version). I had received product in a timely manner but upon receiving it was missing two pieces, also the product had a very very cheap feel. Called Amazon they were great about handling my return request.

I always read the reviews before purchasing an item. I noted there were some negative comments on the Gemini 1-B's, so I had to really think whether or not I wanted to buy these speaker stands. The main reason I went ahead with my purchase was due to the unique styling of these stands. They are different looking from most of the stands on the market. I am very glad I went ahead and got them. I am quite handy, so I had no problem assembling them. I did use a 'fish' wire to pull the speaker wires through from the bottom and out the top. After the fish wire was through, I attached the speaker wires to it and simply pulled the whole thing through and out. This went quickly and easily. I have a Samsung Home Theater System with the rear speakers measuring 11" x 4" and weighing in at around 3.5 lbs each. I used the supplied long 'L' bracket to attach each speaker to their stand. I had to supply my own small bolt and nut which I ran through the keyhole slot on the bracket and slid the head of the bolt into the matching keyhole slot on the back of the speaker. This worked out perfectly. The speakers hang straight, solid and with no movement. The hardest thing about the assembly was which baseplate insert did I want to use? I decided on the espresso colored one to coordinate with our decor. It's a nice touch being able to change out this insert with one of the other 3 if ever needed. Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchase and the stands look great!

I admit that my expectations were very low when I purchased these speaker stands, but I simply needed something to get me through until I found (or made) something better. Once they arrived in the mail and I put them together (in about 15 minutes of careful assembly and clean up), I was very pleased. I had purchased oversized bookshelf speakers made by Polk Audio and I wanted a way to keep these speakers off of the ground and also from tipping over. The base is very sturdy, which was a large concern of mine. I had purchased stands before but had to return them when the massive speakers on the stands became unstable. I would highly recommend this product to anyone searching for good quality (and stable) speaker stands. I have noticed dramatic sound differences in my home theater room now that the speakers are at ear level. The product comes with eight adhesive squares to hold your speaker in place on the stand (4 squares per speaker x 2). I would recommend purchasing electrical tape to wrap up your audio cable that goes into the hollow tube to conceal the speaker wire. It gives the overall stand a much better appearance, as the stand itself is black and it blends well. Add glossy black bookshelf speakers, black wrapped speaker wire, and black speaker stands and you've got yourself a professional-looking design.

I bought these speaker stands after reading several reviews at Amazon and elsewhere online, and they seemed like they would be adequate for the price. While I didn't expect them to be top of the line, I didn't expect the gift-wrapped turd I received either. The stands are supposed to hide the speaker wires by allowing you to thread them through the base.The opening was too narrow to get my speaker wires through. The screws that hold the base plates down stripped their threads on one stand, and are too short in any case. Of the speaker mounts that were included in the box, only the two-sided tape mount would hold my speakers-and the tape on one stand failed less than twenty minutes after installation. I left the room, came back, and my speaker is hanging by its cord! Avoid this shoddy collection of foreign made junk!

Unlike some of the other reviews, I found these stands to be well made and complete with all their parts. I purchased these for Onkyo speakers weighing 7 lbs each. They assembled easily even though the instructions are cryptic. The main issue is that the bottom is a flat surface. I was under the opinion that the base included two sets of feet, spikes for carpet and rubber feet for solid/hardwood floors. This is not the case, only the carpet spikes are included.Anyway, as most floors are not perfectly level, the flat base wobbles on the floor with no method for adjustment. As these speakers were pushing the 8 lb limit of the stand, the combination of weight and wobble left me with little confidence that these would stay upright. I tried putting felt feet under the base, but that made little to no difference.I am returning these. To bad as these are attractive reasonably priced stands.

Saw a number of mixed reviews and was unsure whether to order these speaker stands. Anyway I decided to give them a go knowing how good Amazon are at handling returns. Delivery was swift and the speaker stands were nicely packaged. Assembly was actually very straight forward but the speaker posts have a threaded section which screws into the base. Unfortunately the thread is not very deep, made of soft metal and when you tighten the post to the base to the losing where the post isn’t loose that’s unfortunately just enough to strip the thread from the base. Before assembling the post to the base there is a threaded nut that you screw on to the post and this locates a shroud which covers the post mounting hole on the base. Luckily with a bit of modification to the underside of the base I was able to use this nut to ensure the post was adequately secured to the base. Granted it should not be necessary to have to do this but at least it meant the upright post was secure and the speaker stands would function as required.The actual speaker mounts were very straight forward, there’s a selection of 3 different fittings and the right angled mounts were perfect for my Onkyo speaker’s keyhole mount.The speaker stands look very nice although the Omnimount logo is poor quality and not in standing with the appearance of the rest of the speaker stand. The choice of inserts for the base plate is a great idea and has allowed me to match the speaker stands in to the room better; valuable wife points scored here which I needed after her reaction to the size of the new Onkyo front speakers I installed a few days earlier.These speaker stands have got the potential to be 5 star but the design and construction of the interface between the upright post and the base lets them down a little bit.

Die Ständer sind leicht aufzubauen und es stehen verschieden farbige Bodenplatten zur Verfügung. Für meine Lautsprecher mit 1,25 kg Gewicht einfach ideal. Die Stabilität ist voll in Ordnung. Adapter für die Anbringung sind auch dabei. Ich musste allerdings mir andere Schrauben besorgen, was kein Problem war. Für mich volle Punktzahl.
