I was sad I couldn't find the emollient daily shade, but that's what they sent me lol. this is a very greasy spf for about 5 minutes, and then it soaks into your skin nicely. I can't smell or feel it after 5 mins. it is SUCH a great size for twenty bucks. it works well I feel, it has good coverage, and I enjoy it very much. will be a staple in my routine for years.

I usually don't buy lotions (especially in a large size like this!) without first smelling them since I can be sensitive to smells, but I went ahead and bought this lotion sight unseen (scent unsmelled?!) based the reviews. I've used Alba Botanical products in the past and have always loved them, and this one is great, too!The lotion is nice and thick, but it sinks right in, so that you don't feel greasy and your skin doesn't feel heavy at all after using it. Also, the scent is very, very light and subtle; it doesn't compete with my perfume, and is definitely gender-neutral. In fact, the scent fades away after a few minutes of applying it.Another big plus is that I can use this on my legs right after shaving, and it doesn't burn, as I was afraid it would because of the alpha-hydroxy acids in it.I've been looking for an SPF lotion that was lighter-feeling, and this one is definitely great. I've used Kiehl's SPF body lotion in the past, but it's the same price for a bottle that is half as big as this Alba one. I've also tried Lubriderm's SPF lotion, but that one felt too thick for me. This is a nice compromise!UPDATE 4/18/10: I've been using this a few weeks now, and just love it! It has made my skin so soft, even on those troublesome places like my elbows, which are usually really rough. I will definitely be buying this again once I run out.

Good lotion with spf 15, no scent, thick, non greasy and moisturizing. I like this better than lubriderm with spf and will definitely buy this again. Would like slightly more moisture and the pump didnt work.

the container pumps and works well. the lotion is perfect- thick but not greasy, light scent of beach sun time, stays on, really drenches skin with lasting moisture, one pump can do adult arms and legs both!

I love this moisturizing lotion with sunscreen! It feels silky on my skin, like my favorite lotions, yet gives the sunscreen protection I need! I was actually surprised with the size of the bottle, pleasantly so! It's a generous size and well worth the price! I'm picky about my lotions, and have spent $ on sunscreen in the past that was heavy or I just didn't like. This feels moisturizing, and the sunscreen is very effective. I know this, as I missed a place on my back and I had a sunburn in that place only! I didn't use this on my face, because I am super sensitive with combination skin, plus wanted a tinted for my face. But for my entire body, I highly recommend this lotion!

I feel REALLY good using an SPF all over. This does not disappoint! The fragrance is light and the feel is lightweight, not sticky at all. It absorbs quickly into my skin after showering and I'm not left with residue or transfer on my clothes! It's moisturizing all day and I literally have no itchy Winter skin as I typically do in the Northeast Winters. I will repurchase and possibly put it on subscribe to ensure I'm never without it! A+++++ for me!

I recently switched to this Alba moisturizer with sunscreen from a similar product that I was not 100% satisfied with, and I'm glad I did! The Alba lotion is super thick and creamy, and provides basic sun protection while moisturizing your skin. It's a good start to proper skin care, and the scent is pleasant and light. I would highly recommend trying this lotion, you won't be disappointed!

I love that I was able to find a moisturizer with a built-in SPF. I have olive-toned skin and used to be the girl who was out all summer long at the pool with no sunscreen and as dark as an almond by August. In my teen years, I hate to admit I loved the tanning bed a bit too much (I grew up in the 90s-early 2000s, don't judge). But now, as an adult who may know just a tad bit more about skin health and dangers, I try to shield myself from the sun as much as possible. For the places where the sun still shines but I can't cover up with clothing (hands, arms, lower legs, feet, upper chest), I wanted something I could use in the morning as a one-stop-shop to get my moisturizing in as well as SPF protection. This is a very neat idea, but I think the formula needs to be tweaked a bit. It takes an extraordinary amount of time to dry on the skin, especially if the weather happens to be humid (like any moisturizer does), but this one seems to take a bit longer to dry than most. I would suggest using a very small amount and if it's a particularly hot/humid day, stand next to a fan or in an air conditioned room for a few minutes to let your skin soak it up a bit.
