Septuaginta: A Reader's Edition

Looks great but I only received volume one in the flexisof version. I called Amazon and they said there must be something wrong with the product description and what is being shipped out. I returned it for the hardcover version so we’ll see if I get both volumes for that one.Update: I received both volumes when I ordered the hardcover version.

I recommend this book/Septuaginta, for everyone. Great sale price, for around 40 dollars, actually for two volumes/books, even though they say it is only one book. Leather cover (or imitation, but still great), and yellowish, high quality rice paper. Came in time. Thank you Amazon!!!

As another reviewer said, this is only one of the two volumes, making is extremely over-priced. Also, it is mislabeled as leather-bound, when it's flexisoft (synthetic leather).

In volume one I found a block of approximately 30 wrinkled pages otherwise it's nicely done publication.But for a $100 book I would expect a bit better quality control.

I've been hoping someone would do a readers edition of the Septuagint for years. Thank you very much for putting this together!!!!! Received my copy as a gift and I'm planning to read through it next year. The text helps are perfect, and the font is large and beautiful. My only request: I would love to see smaller, more portable personal sized copy. The size of a single tome is quite formidable.Thanks again to the authors and publisher for putting this together!

just volume one!!!where is volume two ?

This is supposed to be, and is described as a 2 vol set - only Vol 1 was sent and the softcover is slightly bent. Do not order this one.

Excellent version of the Septuagint: 5 stars for that.But like other reviewers, I received only volume 2 of what's titled a "two-volume set".
