Miniature Secret Garden: A pocket-sized coloring book for adults

Ms. Basfords drawings and books are of stellar quality and I hope she keeps putting out new ones! The pages are nice and thick. This is made for finer point pens, just FYI

This is the perfect small coloring book to use for travel or keeping in your purse. My kids and I love to use gel pens to color these and I love the one illustration per page. We have bought multiple Joanna Basford coloring books and each one is amazing. The paper is thicker and good quality.

This book is mostly for adults. It has a variety of pictures to color. It’s small which I like. But the pictures sometimes need to be color with a small tip if you are using a marker. Using pencils is great but on some of the smaller items you need to have very sharp pencils

I like it.It’s pretty, cute and tiny!It’s definitely a challenge on some pages.You need to use gel pens for the smallest parts.

Pros:*Portable to take anywhere!*Nice price range for a Johanna Basford coloring book if you enjoy her work!*Depending on your coloring techniques, this should be quick and easy to complete!*Nice quality paper to work on difference mediums! ((Except Alcohol Markers if you detest bleedthroughs))*Cons*The drawings are so detailed and small that, at least in my experience so far, I have to sharpen my coloring pencils so often, to get the details just right without smudging outside the lineart.*Definitely not beginner friendly!The point is that, this is an amazing coloring book from Johanna Basford but take into consideration your coloring style and whether you’d like the experience of using thos book or not. It’s certainly not for everyone!

This is such a cool little copy of Basford's larger coloring book. I will warn you that much of the drawings to color consist of tiny dots to color with an ultra fine pen! The good thing about that is you won't use up all your ink to color a page. Be sure and take something for a headache before you start and use good lighting. Have fun with it!

I usually love Johanna basford’s work, I have most of her coloring books. This one is only ok. Too many of the pages barely have anything on them. I like this one better than the enchanted forest.

I do adult colouring to help my mental health and have a fair few of johannas books and her illustrations never fail to impress, hers are definitely my favourite. Initially, I was surprised just how small this is compared to johannas usual books but it's so cute. I do really like it, I don't think every picture is in there from the original size (?) I havent dug out the original to compare, but there's still plenty to colour in here. I would recommend fine liners for this one though, as a lot of areas are probably too small for pencil crayons, felt pens etc. The miniature version also doesn't come with the sleeve cover like the original but that doesn't bother me, just thought I'd include that information for anyone else. Overall really pleased and would recommend for anyone who loves a bit of mindful colouring!
