This was our Christmas bust! They don't work on walls/ceilings with even a little bit of texture! We have an "orange peel" texture, and it just falls right off the wall. We got this and the tie fighter. Wish I could send them back, but the boys destroyed the packaging.Pay the extra money for the ones that fly. We got the millennium Falcoln, and it's awesome!!

This is a very cool toy to look at! Got this for my boyfriend for Christmas but he can only get it to work on the floors. It will not drive up the walls or the ceiling as described on the box. We've tried on several different types of walls and it still will not work. This also takes quite a few batteries to get it going and they wear out pretty quickly.

I got this for my 7 yr old Star Wars aficionado for Christmas. Everyone who's seen it on the wall is amazed but it will not work on our hardwood floors unless we keep it on the wall setting. The fan/scooting of it on the wall is a bit noisy but it's a great concept.

This one is built better real solid ....problem is it's so heavy it won't stay on the wall just falls off I'm disappointed but it's. My husband's fav ship so we bought it .....I guess it's a shelf peice

Bought for grandson 7 years old, he loved it.

My son is a massive star wars fan, but he waited too late to ask Santa for a "remote control x-wing", so I bought this for him for his birthday. Got it out of the box and charged it. I thought it seemed pretty flimsy, but I could see that it had to be light in order for the negative-pressure to grasp the walls and ceilings. Okay, I reserved judgement. After it charged, my son and his friends used it on the walls and floors. It looked pretty fun and they seemed to be having a great time. Five minutes later it wouldn't work any more. Okay, I thought, the batteries must have been junky so I will replace them and charge it again. I got new batteries and charged it up. I was worried because the charging light on the remote control wasn't lighting up but I thought maybe a bad light was in there, because the air came on when we switched it to "W". I let it charge a little more, and we tried it again. Nothing. The remote totally crapped out. It was completely dead, no matter what switch we pushed or cajoled. I returned it for a refund. Happy Birthday! Now I have to find something else for my boy. Luckily he likes snowboarding, and we've got some great powder!
