Red HeartLove Yarn-Bluebell, Multicolor

This yarn is very beautiful BUT it’s very hard to work with because it separates very badly. I love how my projects came out ans I LOVE how extremely soft this yarn is. I did purchase 6 orders of this yarn and definitely will again because of how beautiful and soft it is but but for others I do warn you that this can be very frustrating to work with.

I have knitted all my life and have bought MANY skeins of yarn. Red Heart is usually one of my favorite brands but I didn't like this type: Red Heart with Love, Candy stripes.I always roll my yearn into a ball before I use it. The 1st skein I used, I couldn't find an end, either on the outside or at each end. I finally pulled out the whole insides and took forever to get the end and get it rolled up. I had to use 2 hands to work it slowly from the whole inside before rolling it up. I just assumed that it was a bad skein, but last night I started the 2nd skein and it was just the same. I have one more skein to use and really need to order one more (I'm making a baby blanket) but I don't want to go though this all over again. What's happened to Red Heart????

I'm a new knitter, and new to yarn in general, so the inexpensive price caught my eye. I figured I'd order a skein and give it a shot. How else to learn what I like and don't like? First off, the Lettuce color is beautiful! I'm working on a pair of fingerless gloves now with it and its just gorgeous. The yarn is much softer than say the Red Heart Super Saver yarn, and overall I quite like it. The one thing I don't like though is the plys separate from each other easily while knitting, which means if I'm not careful, I get some "rough" spots in my work. Still, its seems to be a pretty good and nice and soft yarn for the price and overall I am satisfied with it. Will order again in other colors.

This is a skein I had in my stash for years and when I decided it was perfect for my current customer creation I found it was hard to find and much prettier than I thought. The yarn is quality for sure and even though on the pricey side now, it is really worth the money. I make crochet afghans for customers and they are usually very picky about colors. It is very important to have a high quality yarn that will last for many years to come. This one qualifies for sure. It is rated a 4 weight (medium) but when it is worked up it seems thick. It is certainly very durable. This one will not break with wear. the colors work up really nicely. It does seem to be not an Ombre nor a strip like other yarns but it is a slower color change than a variegated yarn. I really like it! My customer loves the colors. The colors change from a medium green to a lighter green to a light green and to a teal.

I just love the colors that I have gotten with this red heart yarn. The sizes are perfect for the kind of work that I am doing and the yarn is always very soft. I think Redheart is a good quality yarn and I am very pleased with the fact that I'm able to use it.This product was a personal purchase for myself at the normal retail/list price. I am reviewing it solely because I want to share my experience with other potential customers. Here's the problem. I bought the yarn for a sweater my daughter wants me to crochet. She picked the color based on the photo. Now the yarn arrives and yes it is marked Boysenberry but the color is completely different more a fuchsia than the purple shown. I am less than thrilled with the product representation because she really isn't fond of pink and I may have to now return it, which is going to delay the finished product which is a birthday gift. I went ahead and gave it three stars because I usually like Red Heart yarn, and this feels nice and soft but they really need to represent the color more accurately.

The color has more butterscotch (a light butterscotch, not the darker kind) than cornsilk. It is hard to describe. I don’t like it much because the color looks more for children than for adults. It doesn’t resemble the stock photo that is for sure. I have no problem with th yarn quality though. It is smoother than super saver but heavier in gauge than Red Heart Soft.I also bought the mallard, boysenberry, bubble gum, and evergreen and loved them all! These colors resemble the photos and the namesake much better.RH with Love is much more expensive than RH supersavor but is softer in texture. I have yet to combine these two to see the effect.

This the most beautiful color yarn EVER! It is a true worsted weight but super soft. Stock up on it when you can.

Lovely wool, never used this brand before, but I was really pleased with how it crocheted. Will definitely be using again

Lovely quality wool. Was recommended in a crochet pattern book.This wool took a long time to come. Didn’t realise it was coming from America! Surely there must be an equivalent in UK.

Ordered this expecting cream. Didn't see the description saying multi coloured. However the multi coloured suited my project so it was OK.

Although I have kept the yarn sent as it was good quality the wrong colour was received. I ordered a dark red holly berry, what came was papaya which is a lighter red. Fortunately it will work with my pattern. However it has made me very wary ordering from this site again.

Incredibly soft, bouncy yarn. The colour is a bright Christmas red, rather than the burgundy cranberry shade it seems on screen. Still very happy with my purchase.
