Are these exact same size as ones 50 years ago?  Will they fit together with the original ones?

Hi there, since Lincoln Logs have been around for so long (over 100 years), they have had several different manufacturers that might have tweaked the scale slightly from time to time so we cannot guarantee that the Lincoln Logs produced by Knex (since 1999) will work with previous sets before 1999 but we can guarantee that they will work with sets produced by Knex since 1999. Is this made in USA by knex?

What are the differences between the product other than the number of parts 117 or 111 and why does the packaging look different?

Hi there, the log cabin you can build (the photo on the front of the package) is two different style log cabins.  The logs that come inside will support the build represented on the front of the package.
