Tandy Leather Lace Hooks Brass 10/pk 1234-01

Strong solid hooks, easy-ish to install... had to drill out the broken sheet-metal originals that broke off. I also bought some low profile screw-rivets to install them, as you can see in the photo. This pack should last me the rest of my life... I'll probably remove and save the ones I used in this boot when the boot wears out before the hooks do!

I had a plastic boot hook that broke I ordered these metal ones to replace it doesn’t match the plastic one that doesn’t matter to me my pant leg covers it up I would like to replace all the hooks with these metal hooks

Great repair for my Wolverine boots. Not happy with the boots but the hooks are beefy and worked well. I used a pop rivet to attach it.

The quality seems good, but they only send them in a quantity of 9 not10 as advertised. Seems like a scam to make you buy 2 packs instead of 1.

So to start, they don’t come with any grommets to hold install and made it very difficult to put into place, but after accepting that was on me for *assuming* they came with all pieces needed, and not double checking the ad, I installed them with other grommets, and the first day of use they all bent and broke, except for one. (I put four on each boot). Total waste of money, in my opinion. I couldn’t even return/refund for them because I didn’t have the pieces to send back to Amazon, because they fell off out while I was working, I’d never be able to find them. Terrible performance. I’d suggest you save your money and move on to another page.

These are working out really well on my work boots.My work boots are very expensive and very comfortable. Unfortunately the original lace hooks were sheet metal and would bend a lot. After bending them back in to shape many times a few broke. I didn't want to throw away a boot that was otherwise perfectly good.I fond these and decided to give them a try as well as some lace hook screws. As some have mentioned there are some indents for the rivet head to sit in. The screws I bought had a head too big to fit in the recess. It doesn't seem to affect them though and my boots are as good as new, better really because they are all broke in.

Good heavy hooks but, Tandy doesn't have the size rivets that would really secure these.

Look good, appear to be well made. I don't really have a lot more tosay. They are what I need.
