Wasn't expecting a great product for a reasonable price! Box is build exceptionally well. Will hold up very nicely over time.

Nice box. Just right.

Solid box. Thick. Secure mounting tabs. Says it's waterproof, not that this matters in this application, but the seal isn't a rubber gasket. It's a rubber-ish piece of cord. I'm not sure how that could seal where it joins. Whatever. No matter to me. This is a charge box for me as a musician it charges up all my stuff in one box for the gig. All it does is keeps the cords tamed and out of the way. Pretty pleased for the application I have.

I like the mounting lip! That's something I didn't know I missed until I started using these boxes. The plastic is easy to drill and nibble square holes. I have not used punches for larger holes, so I'm not sure about that. The lid sure looks waterproof, although I have some outside, but none underwater. They are holding up fine.

The standoffs in the bottom of the enclosure are a little small for M3 brass heat set threaded inserts, but it was easy to use a number drill (the size depends upon exactly which inserts you use) and countersink bit to enlarge them slightly and bevel the edge. The M4 inserts to close the box had a couple burrs for one of the boxes, but this did not interfere with use but it was easily cleaned up with a quick run of a tap. It would be nice if there was a diagram of the internal dimensions, as this would make a custom PCB much quicker to design and mill. Overall, my microcontroller inside the box is far more finicky than the box itself and for the price the enclosure meets expectations.

I purchased this box over some alternatives because it had ears for mounting the box to a wall. It comes with a white spline for waterproofing the box that is fitted into a groove. I did not test the box to ensure it was waterproof, but the top, affixed by four screws, fits securely. There appear to be small standoffs molded into the plastic, but for my project I added my own to the box.

Item is built well. Comes with water tight gasket. Perfect for the project I'm using it for.

Bought this to enclose an indoor alarm sensor for my patio door. No issues

I bought these so I could install a Philips Hue Door Sensor on our backyard gate. The sensor could not be exposed to the elements so I thought this would work. The sensor fits like a glove and keeps it dry.

This item was used to house an indoor electric power supply and it worked perfectly. I was able to drill some holes and make it work for my needs. There is tabs on the box so you can screw it down and that meant I was able to hang it out of the way. I thought it was a great item for the money and it suited my needs well.I would recommend this item to anyone and I would purchase it again if needed.

Would prefer a brushed finish, the gloss finish shows up every little mark or blemish.

I needed to add a switch on my camper, and these boxes are great : waterproof and dustproof. They come with gaskets. Easy to drill. On picture, box is on the left. A good buy!
