Previously I had some less expensive gel rugs. One of the biggest issues was that they moved easily. I was constantly moving them back into place. These rugs have stayed in place. This is one of the most impressive positives.They are very comfortable. I cook a lot of food to be served for free meals provided in rural areas around us. I have plantar fasciitis, bone spurs, and other foot issues. With these mats, I am able to stay on my feet cooking all day.--with no pain.The size of these mats is great. Other mats I have used are too deep; when I placed one in front of my kitchen island and one in front of the counter behind the island, they almost touched. This made my kitchen, which is fairly large, look as though the floor was covered in mats. These are deep enough to make standing comfortable while leaving a lot of space between mats that are placed across from each other.I have four of these in my kitchen and am extremely happy with them. They are pricey compared to most other mats, but I think they are well worth it. Time will tell if the edges hold up better than those I had. I have spent a lot of money purchasing less expensive mats. Some were fairly comfortable, but the edges frayed on all them fairly quickly. None were as comfortable as these GelPro mats.I will purchase more for other areas of the home.

I had 4 long gel pro mats in my last home. I had them for nine years before I left and they still looked like new. They saved my legs on the beautiful ceramic tile floor. When I moved to a much smaller home I knew that I needed a GelPro. I was a little disappointed in the color/style choices as I would have liked more plain colors. A mat to me is functional not decorative. I also was not happy with the white GelPro sticker on the side of the mat. My partner was able to get it off but at first I was quite disappointed. He solved my concern. I did not want to have to take a black magic marker to my new mat.

I have been having problems with the heal of my left foot. Standing for long periods of time has become quite painful. This mat is excellent - I can stand on it and the pain is eased. A great product!!!

I love that is very supported and cushiony u can feel the difference when u stand on it.

My FIL bought a couple for his house and hubby & I were on that mat like cats.... massaging their paws. It's amazingly comfortable and once you step on it you'll understand why this falls into the "need" category. You'll end up taking your shoes off as you pass by just so you can step on it. For real.

I have Gel Pro Elite mats in the kitchens in two of my houses in front of the sinks and stoves. They work very well, are comfortable and are OK to clean, but they CREEP! All day, every day - I have to bend over and tug them into place. I hate that! I see now where they are selling little fasteners for $10, but why? Why not just have them on the product as is?
