2 Sets DT Series Connector 8 Pin（16 AWG-22 AWG） Sealed Male and Female Auto Waterproof Electrical Wire Connector Plug

Used this plug on a bass boat fish finder 10 wire cable that got cut in half. Was nice that it was waterproof and easy to assemble. Just make sure to use right pieces in right places. Did not have proper crimp tool but soldered the wires in and crimped with needle nose pliers.

Buyer beware, these are the worst connectors that I have ever had the displeasure to work with. Pins don’t stay seated and the locking tabs break like nothing! Don’t waste your time on this product!!

One of the metal pins was manufactured badly, or possibly is for a different product - in any case it is not usable, and there were no extra pins included, so now I'm unable to finish my project, unless I order another complete set of connectors? Most parts of this type come with at least 1 spare pin.And there's no assembly instructions, and the process for putting this together doesn't seem too straight forward.

I received a kit with two sets of connectors. One of the female receptacles had its numbers backwards - buyer beware. Possibly these are knock-offs and they got part of the mold backwards for one of their runs.

These might not be the Deutsch brand bit as far as I can tell they are pretty comparable. I didn't experience any trouble with pins or sockets fitting. And the rubber sleeves and covers are nice and tight. Good quality DT connectors at a great price

Wiring on a Porsche

These are fine for a permanent install. However, if you need to disassemble or change wires, which is one of the intended uses for a DT connector particularly for their expense, the lock wedges on this brand both do not have a keyway with which to dislodge them, lock in place quite firmly which you would think is a good thing, but the face of the female clips snap with light pressure and the handle on the male clip likewise snaps off long before you can apply enough force to remove the wedges. I was very lucky to discover this before install as I did not have too much space with which to cut my wires much further back to the firewall.Be warned. You really can't bend corners with these vs actual DT source.

These looked super nice and easy enough to use, however when assembling the 6 pin one it just didn't want to snap together with the pins so ended up ruining that one then had to use the 2 pin and 3 pin to get the wires I needed to work. Don't think I'll order these again, unfortunately they were too much hassle.

Crimping wires would suffice, but soldering is best.Attention to wire gauge coverage.

Arrived quickly and are standard Duetsch connectors
