GardenaCanada 33117 Nozzle with Front Trigger (Variable Patterns) +, Water Stop

I'm OCD - I needed a sprayer to go with my Gardena hose reel. The quick connect is a nice touch - although, honestly I'm not swapping the sprayer out very often (at all). There have been a couple of times when the nozzle has banged against the hose reel while it was retracting and I lost my grip on it, but I haven't noticed any damage and it still sprays fine - so I guess it's durable. I'll need to go through an entire season to really assess that. Will update if there are any issues. Overall, a solid product. I've been very happy with the Gardena brand.

Wanderer gave a very accurate description from an experienced Gardena product user..it is well worth reading. I'll add the perspective of a newby Gardena product user.My first thought on this product was, "You want me to spend HOW MUCH for a stupid hose nozzle!!??" and I continued to use a big box store hose nozzle. I previously bought the Gardena 8893 grass trimmer after much gnashing of teeth at the cost but finally made the purchase when I saw a reviewer noting Gardena is associated or made by Husqvarna; this company produces high quality products that are worth the cost. The trimmer has been well worth the cost. But over $30 for a stupid hose nozzle??? The grass trimmer at least whirrs and has blades and cuts things so I could justify the cost. But a hose nozzle?? That was until I dropped the hose with box store nozzle and once again it landed on the handle and promptly sprayed me and because the stupid handle stuck on I really got sprayed. I picked it up and whacked it on the ground several times and went inside to order the Gardena nozzle.This Gardena sprayer has been great! I was amazed at how fine of a spray mist it creates and could easily adjust it for a heavier stream that looked similar to a rain fall. The strongest or jet stream was excellent and far surpasses all of the box store nozzles I have used in the past. I really like the ability to adjust the flow volume by the red knob on the back of the sprayer. I can slow the water flow down to a trickle to water a small pot or young plant rather than blasting the soil out. It is comfortable in the hand. Even the colors work well as it isn't garish but the red/orange makes it easy to see in the grass...this is important because this thing costs too much to accidentally run it over with the lawnmowerIs there anything to improve? Maybe the spray adjustment and the flow adjustment are a bit tight to turn but this should not be an issue unless one has arthritis.By the way, the quick connect fitting. I've gone through a bunch of different brands of both plastic and metal quick connects. All ended up leaking or breaking or no longer worked. I really like this Gardena connector. It uses an O ring as a seal which is better technology than any of the big box quick connects. Yes, the O ring is rubber and will deteriorate over several years, but it can be replaced very easily. I am impressed with the ease of connecting and disconnecting the nozzle from the hose. The connect has a locking position that if engaged, will prevent the nozzle from accidentally coming off. The connect included with the nozzle does not allow water to flow unless there is a nozzle or other fitting attached. Sometimes, I have needed to attach a nozzle to another brand connect with the hose pressurized. It is a pain and usually water squirts all over. I was able to connect this nozzle to the quick connect fitting on the pressurized hose with only minor water leakage.Will I buy this sprayer again? Yes. Will I complain about the cost? Yes. But this is truly a product in which you get what you pay for.

I’ve tried to find a great nozzle like the one that came on the Gardena Hose/self winding reel from FrontGate but had no luck until this one. This one is about half price of most of the Gardena nozzles and works the best/easiest of all nozzles(even Frontgate’s) that I have ever bought. Easy to adjust spray for watering and spray pattern is easy to find the type of spray pattern/pressure you want. I will buy more of these and do recommend it for the picky gardener/home owner that wants a good, easy spray nozzle for their hose/yard.A+

I buy all Gardena garden hose products. They are of substantial quality and the O-rings seem to last forever. The only problem I have is if you leave them outside when the first freeze occurs, the residual water will freeze and expand and separate the products along the line where the halves are joined and you have to trash them. Metal products are cast and don't suffer from the same problem, although the expansion will create other problems, but not as quickly as the Gardena. But it's a small price to pay for the otherwise good quality.

The media could not be loaded.  Lasted a month then began leaking and progressively got to the point in the video. I just grab it there while watering so the water doesn’t soak my clothes.

This is the absolute best spray nozzle I have ever used. I am a professional gardener and have used many that were sheer junk. The Gardena is solid, lightweight and so far has made my life easier, which is huge when working long, hot hours in a garden.Having a feature on the nozzle to turn down the water volume is very useful, as is the locking feature to keep the spray on. The lock is easily disengaged and the nozzle has lots of choices for spray pattern. Highly recommended!

Finding a great hose nozzle is a really challenging task and this one qualifies. While expensive, it produces a predictable even spray on every setting. Its separate volume and spray controls allow for fine tuning for the job at hand and the lock on and off feature in the handle is handy. I have three of these for my boat and even though the web description says metal, it seems well protected so that I don't worry about damage to the boat from using it or dragging it around on the boat. This was recommended by a professional boat detailer as the best.As an update, for home use I purchased two of the top rated nozzles, a Melnor Heavy Duty Metal Rear Trigger and an Orbit 58984 Thumb Control D Handle. All were good but the Gardena had the best flow and flow and pattern control plus it was light and easy to hold and the quick conect automatically relieves any twisting stress from the hose. Still the best nozzle available

This is the second one I have purchased in over 20 years and only because a contractor broke my original. Over the time of my first purchase the product is still well made and durable. Lots of nozzle settings and the quick clip system is easy to use with arthritic hands.

This GARDENA 35121TC model is a best design as I believed. It's very convenient, durable and look simple but very well engineered for operational convenience

I've tried many different sprayers over the years and this one is the best. I tried purchasing a similar metal version that Gardena offers, and it's broken. I now have two of these (front and back hoses) and my first one is getting close to 10 years old and still working amazingly! Highly recommend (even at the high price).
