I love the consistency of these newer aerosol mousse tanners (as opposed to foams). I was trying to find a cheaper alternative to the St. Tropez. This one gives a nice color, but you have to work fast! It doesn’t spread as easily and dries very quickly which might be what it means by “fast drying” because it does remain sticky for a while and transfers horribly up until you rinse. So make sure you wear loose fitting clothing you don’t care about and sit on a towel!

I watched a YouTube video that recommended this town. Not only does it smell. Wonderful it dries it is not sticky. I think I found my go to product. I am very sensitive to self tanners and in saying that what I mean is some of them if they have the wrong chemicals in them, they make me have flu like symptoms as in chilling this doesn’t give me any of those problems and has left me a nice golden brown, no orange tones it looks great 10 out of 10 would recommend

Update: First off do not listen to the negative reviews. These people are not using the product correctly. When you first apply it, it will not at all look like the end result. You will look green and and goes into your pores etc. But that is why I apply this at night and leave on for the 6 hours minimum like the instructions say so then I wash off!! I will say I found that I don’t like applying this to my face I use another product for my face.So I never write reviews. But this one deserves a 5 star review. I have tried many many self tanners. Not one of them looks as natural as this one does. They always end up leaving you orange, streaky, and or blotchy. I can gladly say I have no streaks no blotches. It’s blends really well. I did buy the light/medium as my skin is lighter. I believe this is the perfect shade for me for winter to give me a nice glow. I may try the dark in the summer to achieve a darker tan. But if your looking for more natural I would go with the light/medium. Also make sure you follow all the directions. This is what I did and found it to work really well. I applied the night before with a mitt. Key note please please apply with a mitt! I applied to my whole body allowed it to dry maybe 5 minutes while I was getting ready for bed. I then put black sweats/ long sleeve on over night to ensure it wouldn’t go on my sheets. But I didn’t notice any transfer to the sheets. Then in the morning I took my shower to wash it off. This is what the directions state “leave on for atleast 6 hours then wash off”. Don’t forget this important step. My favorite thing about this tanner is the fact that it has a green/olive hue to it. It’s not orange at all. So do me a favor if your on the fence on buying this just do it you will thank me later.

Awesome! After about an hour or two on the skin...I top it with an Australian lotion to extend the tan....

Update:1. Applying a second layer 30 mins later does achieve a dark tan.2. For me, it faded nicely except for on my wrists and toes. Nothing crazy and not a single person ever mentioned they noticed it. But I knew it was happening. Lol I had 2 patches on my thighs that held on to color but I also didnt exfoliate my thighs b4 I applied the product originally so that may be why that happened.3. It does dry quickly but my skin felt a little tacky afterwards. I just applied Bondi Sands Pure Gradual tanner and I will say that it dried much quicker AND my skin feels so soft and moisturized. I decided to try the gradual tanner bc this product requires you to wear the product for 6 hrs. I need a tanner I can apply and then leave for work and not look like I'm turning into the hulk. Lol With that said, I get a way darker tan with this product vs the Pure Gradula Tanner.All in all, I still recommend this product. Overall, it does what it claims it will do. The color was beautiful. The fade, in general, was nice with minimal patching. 8/10 recommend it...............................I'm new to the self tanning world so I did a lot of research and watched a lot of reviews as well as a lot of tips and tricks to prevent streaking and patching. With that said, this being my first time using not only this product, but a self tanner in general, I AM AMAZED! I wore it for 3 hrs on my face and a full 18.5 hrs (while I was at work).Scent: Drfinitely coconut. After an hour, it smelled a little odd, but nothing horrendous. That faded after wearing it for about 3 hrs or so.Consistency: thin, foam, easy to apply... however it does dry rather quickly so I suggest working in small sections.Color: on application, it definitely, DEFINITELY has a green hue and you can definitely tell where you have put the product. That green hue faded over the first 4.5 hrs and I was able to go to work with it on. This product is supposed to be ultra dark. However, with one application, you probably wont get that deep, dark color that I know many girls like for the summer. But the product does say that if you want that deep dark color, you can apply a second coat after 30 mins of your first application. With that said, one application did achieve a beautiful, dark, sunkissed color to my skin.Transfer: it does transfer onto fabrics a little, but nothing so major that I was alarmed by it.

I’ve only used a few tanners and I would say it’s a great option.You need to be quick in application because the foam dries fast and rubbing might cause some sort of pilling, it’s very strange. Have to use it a few times before getting it right. Smell is not too bad and only lasts while the product develops and until you rinse it. It leaves marks on clothes but they wash away so can’t complain.Lasts a good 7 days on skin, I struggled to take it off on the 7th day even though I use a sponge when I shower everyday.Looks natural if you know how to blend ankles hands knees and elbows. Moisturising before helps. A light moisturiser though, just on these parts. IfGiven 4 starts because it looks strange on my back and chest, it looks like it clogs my pores, these brown tiny dots look like blackheads.

I am not a big fan of fake tan but my quarantine paleness required some tanning action, I bought this and the bondi sands tanning mitt. I applied this to clean, exfoliated skin and washed it off 6 hours later as per directions and was left with a subtle glow but when I woke up the tan had developed into a stunning gold glow - I now look like I've spent a few weeks on a tropical island. The tan was very easy to apply, even with no guide colour, I have no streaks or any discrepancies in colour and it wasn't sticky. I will never buy another fake tan apart from this one it is perfection!

I’ve been using various Bondi Sands tanning products over the years, but my usual 1-Hour Express Tan Foam was out of stock so decided to try this one instead. Don’t make the same mistake - it’s horrible! It goes on invisible so you have no idea if you’ve missed a bit. I’m very pale skinned so usually fake tans show up really well on me, but this was barely noticeable and took 3 days of applying it before I had anything to show for it, and even then I looked more jaundiced than tanned. By the 4th day it had gone really patchy and very uneven - especially in creases like arms, knees and wrists. It’s nothing like other Bondi Sands tan products and I’m very disappointed in it.

Bought the bondi sands in dark which was happy with but saw that they got a new one out. Claiming that it was darker, had a lovely smell and would last longer, so I bought it,but nothing what discription given on bondi sands site. The tan smells, streaks, to a green colour and washes off. So I reread all instructions and bought there own brand mitt and exfoliating scrub all from Amazon. So very disappointed as I thought I'd actually found a good fake tan but this one is far worse then bondi sands dark.

Was recommended Bondi Sands and after reading up on all BS different tanning products decided this was the one for me. There is very little guide colour. I exfoliated and applied as directed. No colour change after 6 hours so I left on overnight. Showered in the morning and was still as milky white as I had been before using the product. I'm soo disappointed. I spent good money on a product which didnt deliver. I have been using self-tanning creams and foams for over 20 years and never had a result like this - ie no result whatsoever 😤It's back to Skinny Tan for me.
