🔧 Unlock Efficiency with Every Turn!
The GEARWRENCH 12 Pt. Reversible Ratcheting Combination Wrench (1" - 9540N) is engineered for maximum efficiency and durability. Its compact reversing lever allows for seamless direction changes without removing the tool from the fastener, while the innovative Surface Drive design minimizes fastener rounding. With a 15% off-set for added knuckle clearance and a ratcheting box-end that requires only 5 degrees of movement, this wrench is a must-have for any professional toolkit. Plus, its mirror chrome finish not only looks sleek but also enhances corrosion resistance.

Possibly break in period?
Product looks great, but the first couple time I used it, it would bind while ratcheting and while switching selector. And after the first hand full of times I used it did not do it anymore.

Nice addition to the tool box.
I purchased this wrench because I lost one that I had as part of my set. Nice quality tool.

Works
I have the older style ones, but lost the 10mm... the wrench had some defects near the reverse switch/ gouges in metal but doesn't effect it in a negative way. Works fine

Not fine tooth ratcheting
Bought for a specific purpose. It works as it should. Just wish the ratcheting teeth were finer for a better swing.

A Delight to Use, Well Worth the Extra Cigar
Although I've aged out of most of my heavy DIY and car tinkering activities, I still keep a nice assortment of hand tools around. I recently had occasion to replace three pressure-assisted toilet tanks under a recall. A very simple job, but it involved removing and replacing 1/2" nuts from two VERY long studs on each tank, from underneath. My DIY activities have been paid for over the years by paying MYSELF with whatever kool tool I needed to do the job. In this case, I bought this very niceREVERSIBLE wrench--even though I already have a 1/2" combination ratchet in my set.Since I well remember installing these toilets some 20 years ago, I knew the job would be awkward, and that properly tightening the soft, thick rubber gaskets would take several successive adjustments each, I demanded the best tool for the job. I agreed with myself that this was it.For most jobs a plain wrench is OK, but a combination ratchet is a labor-saver. But since I knew I'd have to work blind and upside-down, and successively adjust the nuts up and down for a level fit, this was a delight. I was happy to pay myself for a great job.Another advantage of this reversible wrench is it's tilted up a few degrees to provide knuckle clearance; ordinary ratchets have to be flat so you can flip them over to reverse them (and then fumble around to find the invisible nut again.)And no, I do not make house calls!

Nice wrench, at par with all other non professional series of tools, thickness is good and ratcheting mechanism is also good.

GearWrench is THE best brand when tool trucks aren’t an option...
This wrench was purchased to replace a well-used one that still worked great but went AWOL during a job.As with most other GearWrench products I’ve owned and used over the years, if you take care of them they will stand up impressively well to daily use in a repair shop environment. No they’re not Snap-On (most of the tools inmy box which I use daily are Snap-On) but for apprentice techs just starting out or seasoned techs who have been doing it for a while, when you want to get the job done at the end of the day without going broke on the tool truck, there is hands down no better option than GearWrench
