Gecko Hide and Seek

Good way to teach the kids to count and be observant.

Got the book for 5 year old grandson who's fascinated by geckos, before a vacation in Hawaii. He was so excited to actually see them there, making the book even more special.

Our family spent a week of vacation in Oahu. The owner has left this book in the condo. My 2 year old son enjoyed reading this book every night at bed time. Sometimes, during the day, he would view the book himself. Beautiful pictures, the geckos were not easy to find since they camouflaged beautifully in the background. My husband and I were surprised he found them all. This is a fun book to read. I will definitely buy it as a souvenir for us.

Beautiful pictures and a great way to learn how to count. It is one of my daughter's favorites and I don't mind reading it to her over and over again. (Some of the other counting books bore me to tears. This one does not.) I bought this after we returned from Hawaii so it also reminds us of a fun vacation.
