Can you feel that heartbeat?
What makes this album better than the album came before it? He doesnt sound bored, the production is a lot better and he is not dissing Cash Money on here(SURPRISE!). The album starts off with the dope Heart Of The Streetz where BG rips it in half. He is equally impressive on Fool Wit It, Chopper City and Do That S***. The first single Where Da At with Homebwoi wasnt bad. It was BG, what more can I say. The Chopper City Boyz show up on the best track they ever made on Same Ol S***. Same Ol S*** is a street anthem that was never promoted at all. BG gets deep on the reflective U See Why. The tracks that could have been left off: Work That A** is dumb as hell and so is Get Up, Stalkin, hands down, is the worst track on here and Get Ya Game Up is also skip material.Bottom Line: BG's Heart Of Tha Streetz Vol.1 is BG's best work and is definetely a highlight album of 2005. Instead of wasting time dissing Cash Money, BG concentrated on making a good album and this was the end results. 100x better than Life After Cash Money. Standout Tracks: HEART OF THA STREETZ, FOOL WIT IT, CHOPPER CITY, WHERE DA AT, SAME OL S***, DO THAT S***, U SEE WHY, ROLL WITH ME and ON THA BLOCK.

Still got it
Not the best album by B.G. aka B-Gizzle the #1 Original Hot Boy still reppin New Orleans while some of the other Cash Money members have moved out our City and turned their back on the streets of New Orleans - BG still goes in head first as always. He shows his talent either on or off drugs and almost everyone can relate to his music. He is the realest rapper out of New Orleans since RIP Soulja Slim passed away. The only thing that could make his music better is if Soulja Slim was still alive to colab with him. 4.8/5 stars - although I prefer Chopper City in the Ghetto I love this album.

Gizzle A G!
I knew that BG got his mojo back when I heard his classic verse on C-Murder's first single Yall Heard Of Me. Yall remember that one."...I'm a uptown mobsta/ VL Don/when I die bury me wit Girbauds and a T-Shirt onI'm a fool like that/ I be walkin thru the hoodwit all my jewelry on b. n. wonder how I do it..."That verse was so fire. Best believe that BG carries the same energy he had on that song to the entire album. The Heart Of Tha Streetz Vol. 1 is the best BG solo album since Chopper City In The Ghetto. No more endless talk about Cash Money and disses thrown...just that straight ghetto gutter focused BG. He doesn't slip not once on this album and for him that's a huge compliment because on BG albums he usually slips a little toward the end of the album. But no he doesn't...everything about this album is on point. It flows along seamlessly with almost no let down. The lyrics are so real and fluid; the beats are southern to the fullest and it has a Chopper City feel to it. His flow is still that gangsta. This album is ridah music for sho so if you lookin for something else you probably won't find it. Straight Hood...BG has returned to form. It's been a lot of great albums released this year so far and this is definitely one of them. 4.5 StarsHeart Of Tha StreetzChopper CityGet Ya Game UpWhere Da AtU See WhyRoll With Me
