Old bars
The bars are hard as rocks they are not even edible. The small piece I was able to break off using a metal ice cream scooper, has no flavor, is dry and couldn’t chew. The expiration date is 4/25/25 but they look dry and taste old and stale. I’ve had other 88 Acres seed bars and they’ve never been like this.

HARD AS A ROCK
I buy these from the grocery store and they are amazing. I bought from this seller and they were hard as a rock - not fresh at all - don’t buy from Amazon, buy in-store.

Stale? Inedible? Yes, both!
BUYERS BEWARE. These 88 Acres Cinnamon & Oats bars were delivered yesterday. When I opened the box to have one today, I could tell right away without unwrapping the bar that they were hard as a rock. In other words...they are inedible! I checked the (BB) Best By date printed on the side of the box. 4/25/25. Well, they may have been best by this past April, but by April of 2025 they will qualify as floor tiles. This is very disappointing because I have been enjoying 88 Acres bars for years... and now? I am (sadly) hesitant to buy any more.

Oat Bars. Cinnamon and Maple
I do not eat these everyday and I bought 12 in May and they already expired in July. These are not inexpensive. I probably will not buy this one again. Got another flavor at same time and they don't expire till November.

Great bars, but can’t predict which box will have bars so hard they’ll break your teeth!
I bought a multipack, because I love these bars when they are fresh. All boxes had the same expiration dates. But even within a single box, I had some bars with a little give or bend that were fresh and fine (they’re not supposed to be soft), and others that were rock hard and broke into pieces. My dental work was damaged trying to eat one of the latter.
