Purchased this rub based on a You Tube video on how to best rotisserie a rib roast. Thought I'd try it and I'm glad I did!! Great crust, and very flavor-full. Wish the packaging was bigger, and it's a bit pricey for based on the cost per ounce. But, it was for our Christmas Dinner, so I splurged! Used with mesquite wood smoke, and we were all very happy with the results!

Created a fabulous, tasty crust on prime rib. It also stood up nicely to a 15 minute sear in a 525 degree oven: no burning or smoking.The rub is not too salt-forward, so it works really well in tandem with an overnight (or longer) dry brine. I think it would be great on any roast. I also think the flavor will lend itself to use with veggies.

Very disappointed. Very bland . I had high hopes for this to season my Easter prime rib . So disappointed to have the prime rib cooked perfectly only for it to be so tasteless . I bought the Greek freak , I hope that one is better or I will have wasted 27 bucks.
