Excellent Content Marketing Handbook
The Theory and Practical examples make this book an excellent Content Marketing book. I highly recommend. The Author Mr Robert W. Bly has a wide experience in Marketing and this is a huge benefit for the readers.

Incorrect Reviews Listed Here
It's strange one reviewer said the narrator was not good and had a speech impediment. If you listen to the sample, judge for yourself - the narrator speaks clearly and even uses proper voice inflection. This is important in making narration sound real and not robotic. Good job and Bob Bly is the go-to expert in his field. The other incorrect claim is the material is outdated... again listen to the sample to refute this. In the sample it refers to "free information" as the way give aways were termed, and he says today it's called: " lead magnets" Lead magnets is the modern term and is currently in 2021 the correct way to refer to free information. It's always best to do your own research and draw your own conclusions.

Was this really published in 2020?
I have a hard time understanding how a book that advocates giving away CDs — as in, those old circular things we used to insert into optical drives — could possibly have been published only last year.Robert Bly IS a copywriting legend. Unquestionably he knows his stuff. However, from cover to cover, this book felt dated and like it was written for a bygone era in marketing. If you're interested in understanding content marketing from a lens that seems firmly rooted in the direct response era — then this would be a good read. But even the infographic example felt like it was copied and pasted from the 90s.Today, content marketing and inbound are inextricably linked. While there is some good info here, in my opinion, a marketer looking to get up to speed on how content marketing is currently utilized would be better off learning the trade from another handbook.
