Q: Hi I have bought the js305!!! Is the basketball board supposed to lean forward so much? Also the middle pole doesn’t seem to fit bottom pole very well

The backboard on ours is 90 degrees, or thereabouts, to the ground. A forward lean doesn't sound right. But the other problem you've mentioned sounds familiar... We were originally really impressed with our hoop - and still enjoy it - but after a while it became apparent that the fit between the vertical posts/tubes is not very secure. For us, this means that, as the relatively loose upright posts twist, the backboard shifts by a few degrees to the right or left. Over time, we've also noticed a bit of a lean - so the bottom post is bolt upright, but the next one is maybe 1-2 degrees off and the next is another 1-2 degrees off. With 10 foot of upright, that ends up being a couple of inches. Another problem we've noted is that the crank to move the height up and down doesn't completely clear the pole. We could (and have) forced it around, but shouldn't have to and if we were planning to move it up and down frequently this approach just wouldn't work. My guess is that the manufacturing is banging these out quickly to meet stay at home induced demand. The result has been very slight mis-alignments of hole positions, tubing that is mm off where it should be, etc. If we hadn't waited a month to get ours, and used it so much during lockdown, I'd send it back. Problem is, the proper brands for this sort of thing charge twice as much, so it's a rock vs hard place sort of situation! Good luck.

Q: Can I dunk on the hoop

No. The hoop isn't sturdy enough to dunk with.

Q: How rain resistant is the js 305? (I have to leave it outside)

No problem at all...ours is outside and is doing fine. Obviously over time the net will weather out and need to be replaced but the main frame (steel & plastic) is fine. if you're expecting winds, then I suggest you lie it down.
