I have bought three different apple varieties from Amazon recently. The first two packages arrived with no information on how or when to sow the seed or what apple variety were contained in the unlabeled packages. This package is clearly marked. It contains sowing instructions, though I have no idea what tamp and mulch the soil means. It gives and expected time of germination, which is not in spring after fall planting as some unrelated web resources I read would suggest. They germinate in 10 to 14 days. Based on presentation alone, this is the best package of apple seeds out of all three that I bought. Some others contained debris.

If you think of growing trees from these, I have a bridge to sell to you. The only use for these is to sprinkle them over some kids' art project like they do with elbow macaroni. NONE will germinate, no matter what you do. They are DEAD. A WASTE of MONEY and, which is more important, TIME!

Did everything they required for germination but not one single seed sprouted. I turned to using seeds from apples I ate. Had about 50 percent of them sprout.
