I tried several different 20mm router bits and forstner bits and most were not good, and left burn marks and generated WAY too much heat. If you’re attempting to make your own MFT top then I implore you to stop looking for a bit and buy this router bit.This was about my 4 different router bit that I purchased for my MFT table. The reasoning was that I thought shipping from the UK would take weeks and would cost a boat load. I was wrong about all of that. I had this bit within about 10 days.The holes were very clean, it didn’t burn any holes (I did around 80 dog holes on first use), and the bit measured exactly 20.00mm on my caliper. In the future I will probably buy other Trend router bits because this one cut so smoothly.

Bored mft holes nicely. Also used for some machining of grooves. Cleans up nicely between uses and still sharp after few hrs of use.Bench dogs fit nicely. Haven't made exact measurements of holes and dogs yet.Small gripe but wish it came in better packaging like CMT bits do...

Holes too big for Benchdogs UK 20mm dogs. Cuts slightly larger than 20mm. Sharp and clean ……just too big for that particular purpose.

There is certainly cheaper router bits on the market. BUT with Trend you get a quality router bit every time and they last longer too.
