This book is not only informative but provides great patterns, from easy to slightly more advanced.I think this book would be good for beginners, as it shows you exactly what you need in your embroidery stash and helps you navigate your way through the different stitches. However, I also think this book could be really useful for someone more advanced, as this book provides beautiful little projects to complete.The only thing I have to say is that the way the stitches are described is a little confusing to me; I find the illustrations make it look more difficult than it is.
