POSRUS NibSaver Surface Cover for Wacom Intuos Draw CTL490DW Pen Tablet

I'm very happy with this cover! I got my Intuos Draw about two weeks ago to replace my Bamboo Pen tablet. I was surprised at how fast the textured surface of the Intuos wore down my stylus nib! I may have been pressing fairly hard while using large eraser brushes, but I was seeing similar wear on my Intuos stylus that my Bamboo stylus only had after years of use.I've been using my Intuos cover for four days and am happy with the protection it provides, and how I haven't seen any additional wear on my stylus nib. I also prefer drawing on the plastic cover in comparison to the tablet's textured surface. If you've used one of Wacom's Graphire tablets, this cover feels similar to the sleek drawing surface on those products.

The Wacom intuos is my third tablet and possibly my favorite — except how the nibs wear down so quickly. My first tablet, a vistablet penpad, never had to have the nib replaced in the SEVEN years I used it. The Wacom? I replaced it twice in as many months. They’re not super cheap to replace either — so I searched for a solution and found this, and let me tell you, it’s been seven months or so and the nib has shown no notable wear. It doesn’t impact the drawing at all either. Absolutely fantastic.

Sure, you can get a good protection for your drawing tablet using this, but you'll be unable to draw properly due to how smooth and slippery it is making you struggle to even write a proper word; I'd save my money and a new tablet if yours are worn out.Edit: I've decided to just remove the protector altogether, as it is making me unable to write anything properly and everything just gone all over the place. I REGRET BUYING THIS FROM THE POSRUS and I recommend everyone to think twice before spending $13 for a piece of plastic that was not designed properly for its intended purpose.I'm willing to bet that it only cost POSRUS like $1 to make this and they charge you $12 just to send you a piece of plastic when sending a mail only cost you like $3

Covers the entire active area plus a little extra. It was very easy to apply, and does not interfere with use of the tablet.It also sits very firm and does not move once applied, instructions say it can be removed and re-applied if you have air bubbles or mess up a bit.Only thing to note is since the Draw tablet has a textured surface you LOSE THAT FEELING. So if you need/want that textured feel when drawing, avoid using one of these.

READ THIS BEFORE BUYING i didn't buy this but I'm just saying that whoever put this up for people to buy should have put a picture of what it acctually is this is a case for the intuos tablet not the tablet it's self. someone might think that this is something that they would want to buy for them selves or someone else they know that wants one of these and they might happen to stumble into this one and think its the tablet only to buy it and get what they didn't want for the person who wanted it because it was such a low prce for what the device actually is. here is the actual tablet that you were looking for if you wanted to buy one for someone just to save the hastle but if you were looking for a cover for one then this is the place.  Wacom Intuos Draw CTL490DW Digital Drawing and Graphics Tablet (New Version)

Fantastic! I purchased this because I was going from smooth surfaced tablet to the Intuos Draw, which has a rough surface.It's very sturdy, smooth, and comfortable. I've been using it for two weeks and my nib hasn't visibly worndown, and neither has this cover. As compared to the rough surface of the tablet, which was wearing my nib down within an hour of using it.I love it! I highly recommend!

So far, and I've had it for a few months now with almost-daily use, the nibs haven't been worn down by the tablet's surface. This is great since I know Wacom sometimes makes their surfaces rougher which wears down on the nibs faster.

Love my Surface Cover. It feels smoother and I feel like I have more control over the pen. It also makes me feel more comfortable being a little harder when using the tablet since it wont have as much of an impact (if any at all) on the actual tablet screen.
