Some stains are more stubborn than others but this one does pretty well. I have used the "deodorant stick version" and the spray. For the most needs, I prefer the spray. However, if you are intending on washing shortly after application, the spray has performed better for me. I use the stick if washing is delayed and then use the spray in addition when I am ready to wash.
