Not a fan
I really wanted these to work but in the end I just wasn’t a fan. They’re very hard and don’t offer much support or cushion. At the end of the day it felt like I’d be walking on concrete blocks all day. You can tell they won’t last long either. I need a steel toe shoe for work but it’s really hard to switch to these after you’re used to supportive tennis shoes. I may try them with sole inserts but I’m not holding my breath

Good shoes, but need a few things to be great.
So far, I'm liking these a lot. Hard toe sneakers aren't easy to come across. These are very light weight, fit well and maintain good grip even in spilled transmission fluid. They also stretch to form fit your foot. My only issues are the tie-less laces are elastic and will most likely break sometime soon, and the insoles kinda move on you. Replace both those, and these are awesome. Feels like wearing slippers, but with a hard toe and anti slip tread. Definitely recommend.

great fit
We purchased these for a friend. He needed a lightweight construction type shoe for mowing lawns. They had run on hard times and when we heard of their need we stalked Amazon for an inexpensive pair of safety toed shoes. He is a smaller man with smaller feet and said 8's are usually perfect. We got him 8's in these and they were indeed perfect. He was so so happy with his gift. They seem to be wearing well for him and he said they are comfy. So ... good fit and good quality for this no-name shoe. No regrets.

Nice look! Everyone thinks they are not steel toe!
I was so surprised at how nice these shoes look to be so affordable. They are very comfortable and roomy. My feet feel cooler and can breathe. Have worn them for a week in the factory with no blisters or problems. Only thing, the first few hours they feel a little slippery on the factory floor but I have had this problem with all new work shoes and the factory. Now, they are fine. The safety guy came over to make sure they were steel toe because they look like regular tennis shoes.

Great Buy! Thinking about giving them as Christmas gifts.
My husband loves these. Sadly there isnt a wide option in sizing.... but my husband doesnt mind too much. Hes worn then everyday and even tested out stepping on puncturing objects to check the toughness of the soul.

Giving them a try
These felt heavy as soon as I pulled them out of the box. They don’t feel too bad on terms of weight once they’re worn.I’ve had bad luck with composite toe shoes with the toe box not fully covering my toes. My pinky toe can feel the edge of the composite. These are no different but I’m going to give them a try anyway. I have composite toe boots from Zappos but they are way too warm. These shoes seem breathable enough to not aggravate my athletes foot. The shoes seem to be a little big but not in terms of length. More in terms of… foot fullness? As you can see from the photos there’s a lot of room to work with and without a traditional show tongue there’s extra material. I inserted insoles for the second photo and they don’t seem too bulky with those. I am a woman so maybe it’s because they are a unisex shoe.

Great for the price, runs a little big
This is my 2nd time ordering these shoes. The first pair lasted a little over a year with pretty heavy use outdoors operating machinery and doing physical labor. For the price, I think they are the best looking and performing steel toe shoes, but they could use some improvements. I'm typically a 9.5 shoe, sometimes 9, but the 9.5 were pretty big on me. 8.5 was much better.Pros:-No laces for easy on/off but still snug enough-Steel toe is durable-Looks good for a cheap steel toe sneakers-BreathableCons:-Can get slippery easily-Feet will get wet very easily-The fabric over the steel toe can wear out quickly if you're like me and use it as a tool to hook up tractor implements, etc.

Slip resistant...in certain environments
First things first...these are very comfortable compared to normal work boots. Being a mesh upper, they are very flexible, and fit my very wide size 13 feet nicely. I was worried about their non-slip qualities more than any other feature. As I looked through the reviews, I noticed a lot of negatives concerning slippery-ness. I also noticed that most of these reviewers worked in a kitchen environment, which means grease. I work in an oily machine shop, so I was hesitant to try these. I am glad I decided to try these. These things grip like a magnet on our oily shop floor. They breathe very well and keep my feet nice and cool. The only reason I give 4 stars for durability is because I know that in a few months, the mesh upper will start fraying. That's just my experience with every mesh upper I have ever tried. But hey...for $50 I will buy another pair in a heartbeat.
